ME! In exactly a week I will be at the venue!

hey you live in queensland right? and mango season has started? could you maybe take a few to the show and throw them at matt if he doesnt play the piano intro to new born. and tell him since we dont get much fresh fruit down here in sydney it will be stones if he doesnt play it at acer arena.

Though I don't think the mangoes would last that long... they're soooo good about this time of year! :p

And yeah, last time I checked Brisbane was in QLD ;)

That's a pity. What do you think he was blown away with this year?

he seems to like A+J Stone more. he will announce his top 10 on december 12 so we'll find out then. i shall be eagerly anticipating. :D

I find it hilarious that that "Queensland" song keeps getting most requested on JJJ... I hear it every time I turn the radio on. It's completely ridiculous and embarrassing to people who actually live in the state :P

got a little bored this evening so i put all the tours of linkin park, muse, gorillaz and u2/jayz into a spreadsheet. the most interesting thing i noticed is that they are all basically using the same venues except U2. a lot of the time you have two different bands playing the same venue on back to back nights. logistically it will be a nightmare.

i have dubbed the next 3 weeks as SUPER DECEMBER :D

yes i know alex. i left out jack johnson but he is only do a 4 date tour playing venues mostly different to what the other 4 bands are.

Yeah the other bands just aren't in U2's echelon yet.

And it's fine that JJ was left out, he's a big name but doesn't do arena tours like the others.

F12657341620831623-16245t67382K!!!!!!!!!!!! U2 TONIGHT! Not getting there super early tonight, leaving that for Friday. GOING TO BE EPIC. SHIT WILL BE LOST.

Praying for Kanye to come on with Jay Z

** - for example AC/DC played sydneys olympic stadium 3 nights. the first night saw 70 000, second 75 000 and final night had 66 000 totaling approx 213 000 like it says above. but as you can see we have 3 different numbers all being called "sell outs". the final night had close to 10 000 fewers fans but was still labeled a sell out. its kinda like going up to your parents and saying "hey mum n dad i got full marks in ALL of my exams" when you actually got 90 in english 100 in maths and 85 in history. industry folks often say this happens cos of different seating configurations on different nights but i find it hard to believe they would use a different configuration on each night.

nevertheless i dont see U2 topping this but you never know. their numbers people might be smarter than AC/DC's.......

Oh my god, U2 was nothing short of spectacular last night! Full report coming but I have a job interview this arvo first. Jay-Z was awesome beforehand. Got lots of pics and vids on my iphone. Going to take my camera tomorrow and get better shots. Here's a preview.
