So it seems that SUPER DECEMBER (:lol:) is well and truly under way!

U2 tonight for me, and I've been confirmed to be working at Jack Jonhson (who played last night in Melbourne, I believe) on Monday night, Muse are playing their first night in Sydney tonight, and Gorillaz kicked off the Aussie leg of their tour on Monday night.

Yep JJ was in melbourne last night. Got DRENCHED. No kidding. I wore two ponchos and still got wet. Magical show, though! Jack played for 2hrs.

Yeah, they were sold out before the lawn. So I missed out on under cover although the people there still got wet cos of the direction of the rain! Suckers....

just got back from muse. incredible show. got to the barrier pretty much in front of chris and had a wonderful time imitating his brilliant headbanging skills. my shirt is saturated with an incredible mix of beer, water and sweat haha.

Also, just realised I've pretty mush posted it everywhere BUT here, but U2 last night were absolutely phenomenal!

I stayed at second barrier the whole night, so while I wasn't really close all the time, I had a perfect view of everything that went on :D

LP just a few hours away and i finally get to see my beloved dead letter circus, been a fan since they released their debut EP so it will be awesome to see them live albeit as support for the first band i ever liked.

That sounds awesome!! It's funny how you always have a bit of a soft spot for the first few bands you ever fell in love with :lol:

 

I saw DLC supporting Muse on Sunday night, they were great :awesome:

Though I think they'll suit the LP crowd more than the Muse crowd.

I just got back from seeing muse on Saturday night. Shit it was incredible, the whole show. The only disappointment was that I missed Citizen Erased which they played the previous night but other than that, the whole thing was just so good. I had a seat that was straight in front, just beside where the cameras and sound/lights stuff were, so the view was great. I was standing most of the night anyway. Also about this close to getting a setlist, but didn't

just got back from linkin park. i'll post my experience on the LP thread tomorrow morning. it was quite the night.

 

half of my super december is over. the other half starts monday!

i tend to always agree with kingsmill lol. i still see him as the most influential man in the australian music scene and rightly so. and he included Laura! what a legend! and we ended up with pretty similar lists BUT i posted mine first. :P

 

on the other hand the voted list has some surprises, a little surprised two door made it and amazed that kanye made it to 11 after just 3 weeks of being out there but the rest was pretty predictable .
