I'm a ting tings fan. Thought they had some great pop tunes on that album, and they were a top show when I saw them perform live at the 2009 big day out. If it wasn't for the shithouse dance acts comprising 99% of good vibes I would probably go for phoenix, ff, and tt.

this friday night. i have my final summer school class on friday finishing at 5. so i'm even more excited :) it has been quite the challenge becoming familiar with all this work in such a short period of time but i think the genius musicianship that will be on show that night will be the true spectacle.

I was expecting Evil Eddie, Gorillaz and Kings Of Leon to chart much higher. :confused:

 

Still, only one National song has gotten in so far and it's not even their most popular track from this year. Here's hoping Bloodbuzz Ohio goes on to get a decent position!

And those sketches Triple J keep chucking in really annoy the shit out of me. I mean... why? Who possibly enjoys these things?

the thing with two door is that they had a number of minor hits this year but none that really stood out so despite being one of the biggest names in indie music this year they might not do as well as they could have had they had one huge hit and not so many minor ones. i think when they release 101 to 200 we will see a lot of their songs.

 

very happy to see 2 DLC songs already. they've been one of my favourite aussie bands for over 3yrs now so its very pleasing to see them being so successful.
