My parents are still happily together. :)

18 years ago ... I grew up with this situation, but I don't like it.

Although I know it was the best which could've been done by them.

I know a number of people with divorced parents.

It's not the best for the child,

but it's not the best to stay together if theres no feelings.

 

Divorce was only brought in to ireland in 1995,

The vote on the referendum was sooo close

Yes to 50.28% to divorce being legal

No 49.72% to divorce being legal.

If I had to decide, I'd keep doing it because I have to.

But it's more likely that if I ever get married it's gonna end because I never wanted it in the first place.

we don't have divorce here in the philippines. estranged couples could only apply for annulment or legal separation. there have been bills passed to legalize divorce here but none was approved mainly due to the power of the catholic church on the government. :(
