February 26, 201016 yr Anyone watch women's figure skating? Kim Yu-Na's performance was amazing! No surprise it broke the record and won her the gold. I know! She was incredible!! :) I'm so happy that Joannie Rochette won bronze though...I can't imagine how hard it must have been for her to skate after losing her mother. She was amazing considering the circumstances!
February 26, 201016 yr That's great, although everyone's saying that apart from Canada and the U.S.A in women's hockey, no team has even the remotest hope of winning gold, as the standard of other countries' play is so poor in comparison. Therefore maybe it would be better just to have an automatic play-off for the gold medal to save time (and embarrassment).:P Haha maybe, but then teams would complain :P If the other countries don't wanna participate cause they fear they'll lose, then they just don't have to play, really.

February 26, 201016 yr ^Meh, i still think that a reasonable amount of teams/countries participated. Anyways, I might sound patriotic, but Canada rocks and I would have been surprised if we had lost the gold medal in women hockey :P
February 26, 201016 yr ^Meh, i still think that a reasonable amount of teams/countries participated. Of course, it's just that the others were all useless!:P

For example in the Turnin Olympics Sweden ended up beating the US in the semis and came home with a silver medal. But I think that might have been a fluke :P

February 26, 201016 yr 4-0 to the US after 10mins. At this rate it should be 24-0 by the end, and I expect that.
February 26, 201016 yr Maybe I'll turn on the Olympics. I can't believe I sat here in the same room with a TV for so long and didn't even think of it. By the way, does anyone know who has the most gold medals? :nice: Oh, hockey? I'm so unCanadian.
February 26, 201016 yr These commercials they play on the Canadian channels about how awesome we are are really getting annoying. Just thought I'd put that out there. :uhoh: Ah thanks Briggs, so the Country who wins in the medal standings...is it for Golds or just altogether medals?

February 26, 201016 yr Congratulations to the Finns in a weird kind of way. After a ridiculously embarassing first 12mins, they somehow stopped any further goals going in and got a goal. Yes, USA did totally step off the gas, but they were always going to win comfortably and at least they were stopped from getting a record breaking score line.
