Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

 

She was 32.

 

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

 

We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

 

Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word."

This is so sad and strange, she was so young. :sad:

Dying at such a young age is always tragic... :(

My sister brought up a good point of her weight. She was incredibly thin.

I reckon it's drugs.

This made me cry.

 

My Best friend died the same way (if it's confirmed it's because she had a heart attack). He had diabetes and well, he had a heart attack while in the shower. He was also young but, 13. So even having a heart attack at 32 wouldn't have surprised me. Almost anyone can get one.

 

You never know when it's going to happen when you have such a medical condition. I talked to Jamie the day before he had a heart attack and he seemed perfectly fine. Seemed that we were wrong.

 

Sad, things like this.

Much as I fear it may be drugs there are a lot of different reasons people die of heart attacks very young.

 

A cousin of mine -a total jock, very fit- had one during a casual game of pickup football. He was only about 25. At first they blamed an electrical problem in the heart (rare, impossible to detect before it happens, and not as uncommon as you might think). After the autopsy they found out that a virus had eaten away the lining of his heart. Total freak thing. Could have happened to anyone. :cry:

 

So until we knew more, who knows. Young heart attacks happen all the time.

 

My thoughts for her family. They will now be finding out a little piece of the definition of hell on earth I'm sure. :(

Well in many of their cases, it's called consequences. They learn to think that their celebrity makes them immune to the downfalls of us mere mortals. And then it catches up with them. Beyond that, it's all a matter of odds. If there are X thousand major celebrities, proportionally so many of them are likely to have this happen, and so many to have that happen. It's part of life, and again, no one is immune.

But I have to admit, I'm more interested in the cause of death than anything else really :sweatdrop:
