What the fuck is wrong with people?

It isn't funny at all, as you know what I meant.;)

I know what you meant yeah....actually I didn't even want to reply to all this....but I was hoping I could bring some sense in your mind to see something from two sides....but you are a hopeless case most definitely.

I disagree. Most of the time it's just "abusive" for no justifiable reason whatsoever.;)

Stop fucking winking you ****! It's pointless and provides nothing to what you are saying.

^See of course calling you a **** is pointless, but I also provided a reason as to why you're a ****. While most people are smart enough to focus on the reason (Which by the way I'm not actually trying to start a debate on this time) you will just dismiss it because you were called a ****, you seem to think the reason and logic behind the attack just disappears once its abusive.

You do it when it suits you, when you have no other way out. For example you were more then happy to discuss this topic's events with Julia until it turned out that you are definitely wrong, now she's biased and you can't have a fair discussion with her.

Can't everyone be happy and love each other? :disappointed:

Among the conditional probability of all likely, equally likely, and unlikely events, this one in particular has a guaranteed of probability of 100% that it will not occur.

Can't everyone be happy and love each other? :disappointed:

As far as I get it, most people would love to do so, but some people's stupidity makes it very difficult.

All I'm saying is, whatever your opinion about why a thread might have gone "off topic" (which isn't a crime, incidentally), you should in no way be condoning abusive posts from the likes of Gautama or people being sworn at/abused merely for expressing an opinion.;)

Yes, yours for example (as evidenced in this thread).;)

Mark, I really don’t know how you can go on like this.

You already have almost 50 posts in this thread, because you argue with about everyone. And you can’t say it’s just the “usual suspects” or the “doom crew” or whatever your paranoid mind comes up with, because some posters here have disagreed and fought with each other in other threads, but they all are of one opinion when it comes to you.

It’s sad that after years and years and years of discussing/fighting/arguing you still can’t seem to understand that it’s you who’s causing the problems and who has to change in order to “restore order”. But well, that is not going to happen.

Feel free to rip my post into pieces and answer with as many , :smug: and ;) as you want, it just further proves how incredibly childish you keep handling all this. I won't bother to reply anyway.

aha you seem to have realised that you were the one you turned this thread into "off-topic" after defending yourself by saying it is it not a crime...

and now you are brining up something else, because the discussion could be over. The things Valerie and others said are totally irrelevant in the discussion between you and me.

Do you see how bored you are?

As I said before, whatever your personal opinion is of me is totally irrelevant to me, as I'm sure it is the other way round.

My point is that for some reason all the excessively abusive comments (some of whom made by people who weren't even directly involved) have just been conveniently disregarded, as if they didn't happen, which just beggars belief.:dozey:

holy crap... can we all just drop this petty BS, and get back to the original topic?

Still doesn't address my point about the abusive comments, which people are still refusing to acknowledge in their usual blinkered way.;)

I will keep pointing this out until somebody has the common decency to come out and say, 'OK, you're right about that, at least.'

But, to quote yourself, "Well, that is not going to happen.":dozey:

Individualism also plays a huge role in how a person perceives other people, in the case of developed countries most people believe that you're in a competition, and the goal is usually wealth, money, or some social status.

It's an analysis how people can dislike other people and hence, they express it by showing off, not saying hello, not smiling, or just being rude. If you ever have the chance to go a to developing country, you'll see a huge difference in how each person thinks about other people compared to the US and Europe.

holy crap... can we all just drop this petty BS, and get back to the original topic?

I would be more than happy to do so. Just waiting for the "abuse" to stop.;)

OK back to the topic, what do we make of this?

I'm a mother of a seven year old, very hyper- active, quite smart and half tibetan kid. And as I'm currently living in a south- western german little town ( 30 000 people) full of of shit people, and having lived and worked in London, New York City and a small, yet strangely cosmopolitic town in northern India ( Mc Leod Ganj, home to the Dalai Lama), and having travelled though Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Russia, Japan, China and big parts of the USA ( both west coast and the south ( contrasty), also many countries of Europe:

PARENTS ARE SHIT. They don't teach their children to actively take over responsibility for their world. That's where it starts, that's where it ends. People are narrow- minded, square ( hi Marc :tormented smile: ), boring, coward shit. And they teach their children to be the same.

That's why people act shit. I've seen quite a bit of this planet, I'm in utter awe how very beautiful it is, I'm in very awe how much potential there is in human beings, but sadly, most of them just don't get it.

For all of our own's sake kids, get active. Go fucking demonstrate, don't swallow that crazy, fucking indifferent, boring, coward, passive goddam shit any longer. Ugh, now bury me in your annoying badass, internet coolness. Are you any better? Do you have a vision you wanna fight for?

Ugh, crap

Personally I'd say it makes sense, and anyone would be an idiot for thinking that rude people only exist in Britain, in fact that would be so stupid and nonsensical that it's completely irrelevant. Pardon my irrelevance.

I would be more than happy to do so. Just waiting for the "abuse" to stop.;)

then just let it go and stop making these useless posts and carrying on about the same issue over and over! get over it already

Why is it usually you that receives these abusive comments? Have you got any idea?

Fair enough if you're not accepting of abuse or whatever, but the point still remains that the forum members who will abuse others, have a field day with you. You must think you're really special.

Apart from the abuse, I see so many people openly calling you childlish, or that you aren't making sense, they do it politely and you either ignore it or sometimes call it an 'attack' when it clearly isn't. Why so many people? Are we all jealous or something? That would be the only logical thought (If it wasn't YOU hahaha)

my post got lost earlier, so I want to bring it back:

Actually there was another time I was on the bus, and one of my friends said something to me that I thought was really rude. There was a mother and young child who walked on the bus that was completely filled. So I said to him, "lets stand up so they could sit down" and he said to me "nah, if they want to sit down they'll ask"... I thought it was such a dick thing to say. I mean if you see someone struggling on the bus with a kid, you should stand up and let them sit down. I stood up and let them sit down, but he didn't

It's people that are so rude like that guy I knew, that annoy me

Your friends a dick, stop hanging around with them.

No but he really is. I hate people like that. Especially with old people getting on a bus, you see young kids looking shifty and uncomfortable like they want to pretend they can't see them. It's pathetic, just stand up!

Although I'll admit that time I got up for an old person on a 1 hr bus journey was sucky.

The same situation happens when you have a pregnant woman or a disabled person inside the bus.

Be an example, not a follower.

i know... I wasn't really good friends w/ him. But he had no respect like that to others, kinda acted so cocky about who he was.

I've been in similar situations where someone had a lot with them and were struggling to stand on the bus so I got up and stood.

Nobody's suggesting it only exists in Britain, just that it seems to be a bigger problem there compared to many countries, that's all.;)

And I do believe there is a correlation between this and the general "social breakdown" people keep talking about.

You can dismiss it all you like, but a lot of people are of the opinion that standards of behaviour in Britain have dropped.

I lived in Switzerland for many years and I'd say that people are generally much friendlier in Britain.
