Sorry but it really bothers me. You really don't know how we feel football in this part of the world. You have to see children, women, men, old people, all together crying and shouting for their country. Suffering as always, because when Uruguay plays is like a tradition that we suffer :P Now we are surrounded by europeans, and just for that they think that they have the right to underrate us and treat us as weak. I thought that it was going to be a south american world cup, but I was wrong. Europe has proved again that they are really good, but I know our guys won't surrender. Even though we finish fourth. Btw, is Juani ;)

And hi :) it seems that you're the only one that we can talk to as the others would just insult :P

what the hell are you on? Because according to you.. I've never seen that before? I know it's Juani but I wanted to say Juany 'cause it's cute :nice: BTW, we are getting off topic here with all this "you don't have passion" stuff. We are talking about how Uruguay is not 4th greatest team on this world cup (because they made it to the semifinals) as the other juani said earlier.. that was the topic.

It wouldn't bother me if Uruguay win the world cup.. but I just want the best team to win & therefore I want the teams to play against someone their own level

I got tired of talking in english, so you traduce it if you want to read it.

/random: This is something I just heard on TV. It's not Diego Armando Maradona anymore.... It's Diego Armando LaValija! :laugh3: If you don't understand it, traduce it. And if you can't traduce it go to a basic spanish lesson.

also...

Ive just seen on tv,apart from the fact the free kick in the last minute was not foul

When the 1st player after the kick heads the ball, there were 2 Ghana players in offside.

So,we were robbed:nice:

Diego Armando LaValija

The now famous hand of Luis Suarez

Many have been from the meeting which ended comments about the latest incidence of Uruguay-Ghana match.

For those who still did not see enough to say that at the last minute of extra time the player Luis Suarez prevented the fall of his bow to cover twice in the finishing line of Ghanaians. The first was made with the foot and the second with both hands.

The striker was sent off and the referee awarded a penalty. Gyan marró launching and extending the Uruguayans could not stop the semifinals.

Most forums compare the action with the hand of Henry to Ireland or to Britain Diego Maradona.

However, there is something that escapes. The player was penalized, the penalty was charged and the Ghanaian team did everything to get the win.

It was the striker's inability to which deprived him of it. Without wishing to defend the play Suarez was a valid action that took his punishment and consequence.

How are you played there have been thousands. Tabarez 'coach recalled that in 1990, the World Italy, the hand of a Spanish defender prevented Herrera's header off the goal for Uruguay. The judge did not expel the penalty whistled defender Ruben Sosa spoiled and pulling it over top of the stick. The match finished in a tie and no one said that Spain had stolen from Uruguay.

Likewise, the rally will continue at least until there is another that replace one of the most controversial World Cup.

Oh god, google translate is really bad

Thanks anyway :D

hahaha no problem! I gotta go guys! Bye! & good luck with Holland..

*place your bets*

Oh yes there has been lots of unfair resulta due to cheating, bad refereeinf etc and that's what makes football so shitty and fake sometimes, I don't think justifying it saying there's been other handballs is a valid point. Any play like that is worth complaining.

Definitely not. England played sh*t and deservedly went home. It's not the end of the world - it's a game. People need to get over themselves and stop taking it all so seriously.:dozey:

Yeah some people just seem to see it as a matter of life or death.

It's going to be difficult! I'm being realistic and I say that we are most probably not going to the finals, but I'm veeeery satisfied with these results :D

Bye! It was nice to talk to you :nice:

Joe Cole's damning England verdict: We were just abysmal and we need to change now

By Bob Cass Last updated at 11:14 AM on 4th July 2010

Joe Cole has cut through all the excuses for England's dismal World Cup by admitting that the players 'weren't good enough' - and he has urged Fabio Capello to adopt a more sophisticated pass-and-move style in future.

Cole, who made two substitute appearances in South Africa, delivered a withering verdict on the abysmal campaign, which ended with a 4-1 defeat by Germany at the last-16 stage.

'People will talk about the decision not to allow Frank Lampard's goal, but it was plain and simple to see that we just weren't good enough,' said the midfielder.

article-0-0A2A8813000005DC-833_468x312.jpg Rare chance: Joe Cole replaces Wayne Rooney during England's game against Slovenia

'It wasn't just the Germany game. Over the course of the tournament we looked a long way behind the other top nations and, when it came to the crunch, the best side won.

'It is obvious we lack the kind of qualities you need to be successful at international level. We don't keep the ball as well as other countries. That's not a secret.'

In a swipe at hapless Capello's game plan, he added: 'We seem to abandon good technique because we are obsessed with getting the ball from back to front as quickly as possible. That doesn't work against top teams.

'No one pulls the England shirt on with more pride than me, but we've got to face up to the reality of it all. We're just not good enough.

'It's not for me to decide where we go from here, but my opinion is that we have got to change the way we play completely.

article-0-0A3AB49D000005DC-798_306x466.jpg Flop: Joe Cole at the final whistle after England's defeat against Germany

'Almost every team I have played for - including England - always want to hit the front players as early as possible. You won't get away with that at international level. It's about technique, keeping control of the ball, passing and moving.

'Chelsea do that more than other teams in the Premier League, and that's why we've been successful. It's the same with Manchester United and Arsenal. If you keep the ball, then you control the game. I was brought up that way and I don't know why it wasn't the same for everyone else because that's always been the way forward.

'Maybe it's time to really look at how we're teaching kids to play. Maybe we're paying the price for having the best league in the world.

'When I came through at West Ham, our league was probably the fifth best in the world. A group of us came through at the same time and we were able to do that because of how things were in England then.

'Now, though, the Premier League is the best league in the world. That means it's much tougher for kids to break through and get regular games. It's such a tough league. You're either fighting for the title, fighting for Europe or fighting against relegation. That means clubs buy players who are already the finished article. There's little room for development.

'Our Under-17s won the European Championship and we've got a couple of those lads at Chelsea. They're good kids, but they need to start playing first-team football.'

Cole has left Stamford Bridge with a thinly veiled swipe at manager Carlo Ancelotti and a hope that his next boss will appreciate him more.

article-0-0A2C3F15000005DC-411_468x352.jpg One the bench: Michael Carrick and Joe Cole sit on the substitutes' bench against Slovenia

'At Chelsea, there were players who could have two or three really dreadful games before they were left out . I only had to have a dreadful 20 minutes and I was out,' he said.

'I want the right kind of manager, a manager who loves me, who will put me in the team.'

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is anxious to renew acquaintances with a player whose career he helped to shape at West Ham but there is competition from Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger seeing him as a ready-made replacement should Cesc Fabregas return to Barcelona.

'I want to play in a more central position, like I did at West Ham,' said Cole. 'I've a lot more to offer.'

gotta say having been a holland fan since their strong showing at euro 2000 its nice to see them perform to their potential once more after a non-appearance at world cup 02, bit of bad luck in euro 04, poor showing at world cup 06 and then disappointing at euro 08.

uruguay i guess have nothing to lose so will be going in feeling rather fearless but netherlands have dominated every opposition they've faced so far.

Suarez: The real hand of god!!!!

:laugh3:

:laugh3::rolleyes:

If I were you I'd try and be realistic.

No way Holland or Germany are gonna lose. Well IMO.

:anxious:

Yes, let's just wait.

And avoid useless fighting. :whatever:

yes!:nice:

Calm down, everyone - it's only a game..................................... :dozey:

its not just a game though Mark!!!

football

*giggles*

I'll go get an octopus pic now.

octopus-lessons.jpg

To support Germany or to suppot Spain. That is the question.

aaaand the answer is Germany yes ricardo :whip:

well we'll see how it goes.. & don't say that: "if you don't feel it you don't understand it" I think most people are supporting Uruguay because they are the only ones from South America..duh! Get with the program, Juany:P just like all europeans are supporting their side.

ps: hi!! :D

not true!!:P

Hi Viri!

of course it's life and death. just ask andres escobar

anyway, suarez only gets a one match ban.

:(

but if Holland wins...:uhoh:

Well done Germany!! I couldn't believe they beat Argentina that easily!

Btw, I don't like the dutch team, but, for some reasons, I don't want Uruguay to win..

0341051B.jpg

Enough said.

Go Paraguay :D

:bigcry: I wanted to see her naked...

Every team left in this tournament has pissed me off at some point so...

I have two choices. Support my heritage and go for Germany, or support Spain, who I think are really cocky.

I think I'll support Spain, as long as Torres continues his goalless streak.

:lol:josh you dont like Torres?

Nahh he dives too much and he's overrated. Villa is a much better striker (on their national side at least).
