SCHLAAAAND SCHLAAAAND SCHLAAAAND SCHLAAAAND!

Best performance of the German team during this World Cup! :)

Özil, Schweinsteiger and Müller are just awesome. I thought this WC would be too early for this young team, but they did so well so far especially today and against Australia.

I'm glad Germany scored two more goals in the 2nd half as I didn't want to win because of the ball which went actually well over the line. It seems to be the revenge of Wembley 1966... I feel a bit sorry for England though because I like the country and the people there.

You surprise me, Nicole!

I agree that the unapproved goal destroyed the match. The World Cup must be over for that Uruguayan referee.

Germany's next match is probably against Argentina and will be a very hard match.

I am quite impressed by this young team - so good and so many very good goals scored by 5 different players. They can go far.

I think that the winner of the match between Germany and (probably) Argentina will end up in the final and probably also be World Cup winner.

Germany is not to blame for the referee's blunder.

Germany will loose ... I mean - I was in the stadium 2006 and most of the time I was "OMG, OMG" ... the penalties was the best chance for us ... but now I think Argentina have learn't and there isn't a chance for us.

Sorry to all my German friends out there, but I seriously hope Argentina pummels them into the ground.

I'm sure they will, as they'll play a trillion times better than England, who were an absolute disgrace.

The best game in the world cup so far. I've gone from a Germany hater to emphasizer :D

I can't see why - they had nothing to beat.:dozey:

Capello should be renamed Capitulo.

They were.

Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. It was like they wanted to lose. :disappointed:

If that's the case, they obviously didn't tell David James, as he actually had a pretty good game!:dozey:

DEUTSCHLAAAAAAND!

I can't believe I missed the game, but I came home at 06:00 am to sleep and it was casted at 09:00 am here...

I'm so glad you won.

England was good, maybe the not given goal was the destroyer of the match ...

I'm really sorry for the guys and in moment I'm so pissed off - I hope the Germans will not win the next match!

Are you seriously so obsessed with Chris Martin that you support England over your home country?

+1

People see England's players play for their clubs and think they can repeat that performance in international matches. Fact is they are surrounded by some pretty awesome foreign players at club level which make them look more awesome than they really are. USA might not have the superstars but at least they play as a team and put forth effort. I don't see any of that from England.

Germany really played like a TEAM today...something a lot of other "teams" have failed to do. As a fan of Argentina, I'm scared :(

Exactly. They played like a bunch of individuals. there was no teamwork whatsoever.

I don't get you English! Why can't you support your team?!? :laugh3:

When they turn in a gutless, pitiful performance like that, they don't deserve any support.

Maybe you should pay them less :dozey:

England need to bring in a manager unafraid to leave some big names off his players list and play people who are fit, in form and play as a team and not just on 100K a week so they must be good. If that means someone from the lower leagues, then so be it. The prima donnas need to go.

Chris Martin???

When I support England it has nothing to do with Coldplay... and if you know more about me you could understand this ;)

They've got loads of support :) We have some of the best fans in the world!

That's true, when you consider how much disappointment they've had to endure over the years. Taking that into account, they probably have the best fans in the world.;)

When you're 3 goals down and you bring on Heskey that says it all. He makeas Gyan Asamoah look like Leo Messi.
