2:0 by Podolsky.

And Klose's goal was his 50th goal.

:vuvuzela:

Both Klose and Podolsky have so far made 2 goals in this World Cup.

I can only imagine the chaos going on in in England right now. That was the most inexcusable ref blunder I've seen this entire tournament.

Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!

I'M VERY ANGRY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!

If FIFA continue to refuse video playbacks fine, but get some refs that can fucking do their job! The mistakes are mucking up the entire tournament.

What a drama - and an English goal not approved by the referee. The Danish commentator compared this with the situation in 1966, when a doubtful English goal in the ordinary match was approved.

I think that I have read somewhere that the approval of the doubtful goal in 1966 meant that the match between England and Germany ended with a tie, and in the prolongation England won thus being World Champion.

It meant that England was World Champion. If not that goal had been approved by the referee, Germany had won.

But this time no doubt - the ball was on the GOAL side of the line.

THE REFEREES HAVE HAD A MUCH TOO DOMINANT ROLE IN THIS WORLD CUP !

2-2. They at least need to have video playback for THAT.

That's karma in action, ladies and gentleman. :laugh3:

:)

Best game of the tournament so far despite the blunder :D No arguing with the ref, no dirty play or acting, just great football/soccer/pigsblatter kicking/whatever.

Well England did get the decision way back than so.....

THE TROUBLE IS THAT THE REFEREE COMES BACK AS WELL.

the decision has gone against england which means it will have no impact whatsoever on the fifa's decision not to introduce video technology. blatter and his buddies are satisfied with football remaining in the dark ages and until he is removed (i wont say in which manner as the CIA might be reading this) football will not change at all.

and why are we so obsessed with having a goal-line ref who will like any normal human get it right only 95% of the time. a video ref will get it right 100% of the time. yes u can argue that the game might continue and a goal might be scored on the other end before any video can be used. but all it takes is a simple message to go from the video ref to the main ref that a goal has been scored, the game is stopped and the goal awarded. time taken? 4seconds. pain caused? zero.

Müller 3:1 for Germany.

Please note: 3 German goals and 3 different players - when Germany beat Australia it was 4:0 with 4 different players.

So a team of young German players - many of them able to make goals.

Now 4:1.

But still angry that England's second goal was not approved of. NO MORE MATCHES FOR THE URUGUAYAN REFEREE, please.
