The butterflies aren't under the oracle's control.

 

I know it's sad to think there will be no more butterflies, but we shouldn't be upset.

Even for those of you who didn't get a chance to experience the butterfly showers, Coldplay is moving on to greater and better things.

With a new record comes new ideas and new themes.

Lets be thankful that the butterflies were part of such a great era!

That's one of the special things that makes the VIVA era so unique.

It will surely be remembered.

 

Now all we can do is look forward for what's to come.

Agreed. The butterflies were magical. I remember the first time I saw them, watching that early BBC show. But they belong to Viva and Viva is over. I am ready for the next phase! Remember, they keep saying they are hoping to scale down the next tour. OK in my book.

They were awesome but that was an VLV era thing, we've already had two years of the same show, time for something new.

It's kind of like how the light during Fix You that Chris swung around was solely a Twisted Logic tour thing. I don't think, as magical as they were, I'd want to have the butterflies again next tour.

 

I really do hope they play an acoustic Lovers in Japan anyway.

I'd be very happy with straight up fantastic songs. No bells, no whistles, no smoke, no mirrors, no outfits. Just gorgeous music from the heart. The other stuff is just window dressing.

Is a question of logistic, there isn't way to continue with the butterflies, because new surprises in new songs will appear...:)

awww so depressed now, i only got (barely) a drizzle of the butterfly rain :(

 

i only caught the ones the wind carried over to my side and fighting grown men for them while the lucky ones were getting drenched w/them:angry:

 

ugh i hate being pessimistic! but i cant help wishing i had a whole bunch of them. i should feel lucky as hell as well, since i was so close to the b-stage...

I never actually got to be showered in them either. :( But they were landing here and there where I was. But luckily I got a ton of them off the floor after the show. :)

Lovers In Japan is not going to be the same without them...
