January 11, 201214 yr people honestly think you cannot study philosophy and be a christian at the same time
January 12, 201214 yr It is now down to one (according to wikipedia) as Igor Smirnov lost an election last year in Transnistria (a country, or region, I've only recently become aware of). The other remaining country with a dictator is Belarus, headed by a Mr Alexander Lukashenko. i thought there would be other countries presidents, since many are feeling that democracy is a fake. thanks for the info. i learnt that my style is still so dark, wonder if after all it'll improve in 2 months ahead. :anxious: also i wonder how many postcards will my postwoman deliver wrongly since she keeps giving us envelopes addressed to the next number in our street :dozey: bets are on!
January 13, 201214 yr I've known this for a while, but slowly I'm realizing more and more that I've wasted a lot of my time starting conversations w/ people who I thought were friends, who in turn don't reciprocate the communication effort...
January 13, 201214 yr Something that I really didn't need to know about someone... Now I can't look at him without imagining a cucumber. UGHGH EW
January 13, 201214 yr Author people honestly think you cannot study philosophy and be a christian at the same time I think they just question how much you are immersing into the ideas of philosophy, rather than learning it, or how much you immerse yourself in Christianity rather than simply associating yourself with it and skimming for certain ideals. I've never known of a true philosopher of life in their own right, coming up with their own things which are recognised within philosophical circles, who is also a hard line Christian. That is completely different to a Christian studying philosophy though, but I fear that is where those who judge you make their mistake.
January 13, 201214 yr first come, first serve. there are no tickets for the basketball game on sunday left :dozey:
January 13, 201214 yr that the traditional big medieval text experts in Spain are all family, oh what a surprise. :dozey: (Menendez Pelayo > Menendez Pidal > D. Catalán) i guess their family meetings are so enterntaining debating for stuff such as the geographical sorting of medieval romance texts and similar issues.
January 14, 201214 yr That I must exercise more regularly if I don't want to feel like death after every game of football I play. My thighs and back are ruined.
January 17, 201214 yr That my 6 month old baby finds it extremely funny if I fake like I'm sneezing. Ah, to be amused that easily...:laugh3:
January 18, 201214 yr That I'm just 3 posts away from my 666th post. It's gonna have to be a totally evil post. :sneaky:
January 18, 201214 yr I've learnt that I really miss 'The Daily Show' being broadcast...daily, over here.
January 18, 201214 yr I learned that if you're going through the tag of a band you like on tumblr and you see people talking about a member's leaked nudes you should stop going through that tag because eventually you will end up seeing said nudes. :|
January 19, 201214 yr That my dorm is getting security cameras installed in the hallways. All but the top 3 floors have them installed so far. I'm on the top floor, so I guess we will get ours last!
