The match between Portugal and Denmark ended 3:1

Googled and found this headline: "Portugal 3-1 Denmark: Nani brace & Cristiano Ronaldo strike seals win despite Ricardo Carvalho own goal"

Yes, shortly after the tea break it was 2:0, but the match ended 3:1.

But it was a bit confusing with all these matches and starting at very different times.

I looked at a European football overview tonight when it said Germany:Turkey 1:0 45 - I realized that it meant after 45 minutes - and it said: Klose (for goal scorer) - and it was around the time when Denmark's match against Portugal (and played in Portugal) started. I think that TV2 started the transmission from the stadium at around 21:50.

Serbia losing 3-1 to Estonia at home!

It's great to see Ozil making a mark, and horrible to see him at a club where he won't possibly develop himself to maximum potential.

I agree with everything. Ozil scored his first goal for Madrid last week though!

I know and he'll be fine for Real but he won't get regular games.

Like all young talented players (Oddly Ronaldo, who's at the same club and we must not forget that he is still quite young and I'd say he also won't develop full potential there) they have games where they are incredible, and games where they aren't bad but quite ineffective, they need a club that they slot into, and Ozil certainly doesn't slot into Real Madrid naturally right now.

He was a great talent for Werder, and I was surprised at the media's shock reaction to this great player during the world cup, the Bundesliga is the most watched league in Europe! (Partly because television rights are a lot more relaxed there then the TV companies in England, Italy and Spain) So I don't understand why pundits didn't see him on the radar.

the Bundesliga is the most watched league in europe? Wow I didn't expect that...

Turkish fans were pretty pissed that Özil doesn't play for his home country....which is a shame, because he sets a mark by playing for Germany....funny shows the spirit of our unification celebrations and the president's speech

Yeah he will find himself (and Khedira) on the bench many times.

Ozil was seriously perfect for Werder and his relationship with the players were part of his great success!

It's one of the most watched leagues, it is in the top 5!

They were booing everytime he got the ball it was so sad! If he played for turkey the world wouldn't have known of the Mesut Ozil, turkey didn't even make it to the world cup! so he made a great choice by choosing to play for Germany :wacky:

they won againt Luxembourg and San Marino a few years ago, I think that was about it

For being an island group of roughly 50,000 being ranked at 138th is pretty good. That's over India.

Live matches at the moment are surprising me...:stunned:

Scotland Spain 2-2

Serbia Italy 0-0

England Montenegro 0-0

England 0 - 0 Montenegro.

That's what you get when you have a team with Lescott, Barry and Glen Johnson in it.

Oh and Kevin Davies - brilliant.....he was not.

Kevin Davies is fantastic... at getting booked!

Barry was the biggest waste of space the whole night, Bart I hope you realise what a shite midfielder you have running the show at Eastlands!

Match suspended after 6 minutes (and 35 minutes delay beforehand) due to Serbian hooligans... :\

Well said! That's one of the things why I'm proud to be a Werder Bremen supporter. :D I always hoped Özil would play a bad World Cup because I knew sooner or later he would go to a better club...

He played very well against Turkey and I cannot understand why all the Turks were pissed because he was born in Germany and he had to decide between either team. Fantastic match anyway!

I was really surprised of the stadium in Kazakhstan and about the fact that kick-off was at 11pm local time. 1st half was a bit boring but 2nd half was really great! And Turkey lost in Azerbaijan hehe.

I'm sorry for Ireland, also missing a penalty. Watched Scotland-Spain after that. Great game! Belgium-Austria 4:4! Oo
