Hates Ok Computer

Featured Replies

Well you hating Coldplay is what really makes sense, especially as you continue to hang around a Coldplay forum.

Look your little mind can't seem to process that not everyone on here has to be a Coldplay fan and many members on here aren't even Coldplay fans since they first came here, so stop troubling yourself thinking about something which is pretty easy to understand for most people, but an absolute nightmare for you to comprehend.

OK Computer isn't that good. Amnesiac and Kid A and In Rainbows and possibly Hail To The Theif are all better.

I still have trouble with Kid A. I mean I know its good but it doesnt spark the same feelings I had with Ok Computer. Even though I've probably listened to KID A 40 times it seems like and the only song I like on the whole album is Idioteque the rest is just what they needed to change into after such a successful album.

Well "depressing" music doesn't do anything for me, so I'd rather not listen to it. I tried to listen to "In Rainbows" a few times, but it didn't excite me in any way whatsoever.

Definitely.;)

OK, I'm sorry, but you're displaying a double standard here. It's not as if Coldplay or Keane don't have depressing songs, because they do. You can't judge good music by how "depressing" it is. That is just silly.

Also, you're one to talk about judging people for their music taste. I've seen you make similar comments for stupid things like not liking Coldplay.

GO VIOLET! :awesome:

.....:uhoh: :disappointed:.

Deppresing music helps people cope with sad situations. You cant just say your find and dandy all the time. There is deppressing music for when you feel down. There is upbeat music for when you feel good. Every band makes a deppressing song somewhere down the road.

It's actually rare to see him not displaying a double standard. Wouldn't be surprised if he now disappears or totally changes the topic to divert attention away from your post (Which was great by the way!).

Exactly.

So your friend dislikes OK Computer?

Does that make you hate him (or her)?

So what if your friends don't like the same music as you do, it's not like the end of the world now.

I don't know I just wanted to see if he would into it as much as me I guess and I wanted to see if you guys thought they same way about the album.

There he goes again, quoting me.

There you go again, complaining about absolutely nothing.:dozey:

The difference is, I don't find Coldplay or Keane's songs depressing, unlike Radiohead's. And it's as legitimate a way to "judge" music as any other.;)

Well as has been said before, if you are on a Coldplay forum, slagging off the band is a pretty daft thing to do, whether you like them or not.:dozey:

You're basically dissing our opinion saying that it's the best album ever and you don't see anything better and think we're crazy cos some don't like it.

You're like one of those VLV obsessed people.

Talk about pot and kettle! That's pretty much all you ever do.:stunned:

You're basically provoking me. Very good Mark, you're still doing stuff to annoy people and Ian keeps you here. Good job mate  You must be very happy!

...Aaaaand you completely missed the point I was trying to make. Great job.

I am obsessed with the album. Its crazy the songs never get old or dull on me. All the songs I could listen to nonstop all day. Usually I get tired of an album after about I dont know...two weeks or so. OK Computer never gets old or stale and I've been listening to it for about 8 months!

Its incredible its like the first album I have ever loved.

If you really want to engage in argument you have to painstakingly proofread your post and make sure there is no easily punned-upon material or easily dismissed material or any unrelated material at all or he will dismiss your whole post. He's like the boss battle of the Internet.

That's why I gave up after like 3 tries and just settled for calling him a moron. :nice:

OK Computer is pretty overrated Will...

But why do I love it :(

But why do I love it :(

because it's music and as all the kinds of art, it's subjective

But why do I love it :(

Because you're one of the people who overrates it. :D

Which is really rich coming from someone who creates pathetic threads all over the place with titles consisting mainly of expletives. How moronic is that?:dozey:
