I mean I like some of his songs, but I'm not a huge fan of his. But the amount of records he has broken is unbelievable. I mean Thriller has sold more albums worldwide than I think like the top 3 best selling Beatles albums combined. Also so many modern artists try to imitate him not just in sound but more so in dance.

 

 

I think it's honestly a solid list overall

To be honest Coldplay should not be on this list.

Even if you don't like some artists you know they should be there, I'm not a great fan of The Beatles myself,but have greart respect for what they did for music and think they should be towards the sharp end of the list,again with Micheal Jackson,he was a great performer and wrote some very good catchy pop music(his later stuff was a bit weird)

 

I'm with quite a few people in thinking The Smiths should be on there,Oasis, sure they deserve a place, RHCP and Joy Division should definatly be on there.

Smiths, yes, but then again, this is VH1.
