Oh well, this is rather pathetic of me right now, but if anyone, anyone at all, has a spare, then I'm not only willing to pay a rather large amount of money for it, but also, I'll owe you forever.

It's not even for me, it's just for a very special friend who really deserves this ... my one last desperate attempt to make the most amazing girl in the whole world... happy.

i'm sorry you couldn't get them at the time..

however, you can get them on ebay

i don't want to post a link or it'll look like i'm endorsing selling these tickets on ebay which i think is extremely off the point and meaningless.

however if you need to get them for any price then they're up there

The average bid is already over 500 and it's on for a week!

Where is it possible to see the average bid?

Nevermind, I can see it now.

Where is it possible to see the average bid?

goto the crisis site and enter in to the auction system page

The highest AUCTION bid (per ticket) is currently £525.00.

The highest VIP AUCTION bid (per ticket) is currently is £1,000.00.

holy...

looks like that item has been deleted already!

No it's still up there?

that's bizarre - all I get is "Your search returned 0 items."

search Coldplay Newcastle and it should pop up

So who/ how many here do we know for sure that did get tickets ?

I don't even know how selling on eBay would work anyway, because the seller would have to agree to show up there. I mean I suppose that's possible, but the whole idea of it is just... ugh. :|

Since yesterday I've been trying to finagle something to get the 20th off so I can go to the Liverpool gig (and get back home in time to work on Tuesday). I still don't have an answer yet. The intent was to consider one of the auction options, but I didn't expect the prices to be so high that quickly.

I haven't looked at the auction site yet, but how are they doing it? For the x number of auction tickets, do they have a separate auction for each individual ticket? Or is it one cumulative auction and they take the highest x number of bidders? If you recall from the EODCS last year when they auctioned the lithographs, they had them up separately so the final prices varied by as much as £200 because people were bidding on a specific one.

I think my ebay is broke!

I'm bidding on auction tickets. :) Although I tried general admission, after waiting in the queue for a few minutes, I knew the attempts were futile.

Going the auction route is probably for the best for me anyway -- gives me more time to shop around for plane tickets, etc.

I like your siggy pic. ;)

I did

Have you any guess, how high could it go in the end?

I managed to get two tickets to the Liverpool gig, but the thing is that I did't see the "coldplay.com-option" so I entered a ZIP code that a friend of mine living in Liverpool gave me.

I entered the number to my debit card and I entered all the info needed. And all went well, I got a confirmations mail and all that. But the tickets are " 2 STANDING (LIVERPOOL RESIDENTS) at £55.00"

One hour ago I got an mail from Seetickets customer service saying that I need to call them regarding my booking.

Now I wonder, will I need to return my tickets?

I'm worried :(

Congrats ticketgetters! Have fun! Take lots of pictures!

And VIDEOS!!! Aim for the new songs!
