FESTIVE (OFFICIAL) BOAT TRIP IN LONDON @ 5PM ON 25 NOV, 2010

Featured Replies

It won't fall through, I'm sure of it :)

That's reassuring to know. I'm one of those pessimistic worrier types I think XD

I actually thought about this too. I think they won't cancel the whole thing, just the surprise that is awaiting confirmation.

I also do believe that they didn't think people would come from the US and Australia for this

I was thinking that maybe they'd end up doing something different if the other arrangements didn't come in to fruition. But the boat sounds amazen. I don't think they thought that people would come from that far away-- even I didn't think so at first. (I underestimate the Coldplaying spirit apparently). I only live 40 minutes away these days :P

Well of course they knew people would come from abroad, but given the short period between the announcement and the actual day of the event, I really don't think they expect to see so many people from (far) outside the UK

I'm all booked, plane and hotel paid for, so I am coming no matter what! And if it doesn't happen I might just find the Beehive and plant myself in front of it. (There, that should be threat enough to get something moving.) :)

I'm a worrier too, but I honestly don't think we have anything to worry about here...

After fans from here flying from all over the world to different continents for so many other events, and then meeting and talking to the band and their crew about it, I'm certain they knew what would happen :)

If I don't know it by 17.45 local time, I'm booking untill sateryday. It'll be kind of sad when they announce it and it's thursday, because then I'd have to stay there another day. But I guess that's not so bad :P

That's the reason why I'm waiting to book out of fear to be compelled to also book 2 nights at the hotel instead of only one.

Just stopped by... wow, the date still hasn't been announced yet? :stunned:

:D Glad to hear it!

Oh wow. Weird... My iPod on shuffle just started playing VLV. It's a sign!

Nope, and I think a number of us are having quiet (or maybe not so quiet) nervous breakdowns.

Any specifics about the boat trip yet?

Hey guys! any news yet or is it just a case of sitting tight?

anyone have any ideas of the questions they are going to ask?

anyone wearing fancy Coldplay costumes?

what you think the surprise is?...Id be blown away by just some signed albums!

cant wait to meet all you guys...

Jack

I'm beginning to think they are intentionally doing this, like they are for the Crisis gigs. Remember they said this about those events:

"This gives [people] a small taste of the uncertainty faced by the thousands of homeless people who do not know where they will spend the night."

And we are their "crashtest dummies"... lol

 They figured us real big fans would put up with that without warning:P Better give us something great in return :P

Suspense is killing me.......

Lucy, if you're coming all the way from Australia aren't you going to be in London for both days? Whay would you have to cancel?

(Yes, it's him )

First Post! Whoop Yea. I can't wait for the boat ride. Taking the train from Edinburgh. Still waiting to hear details. Staying with a friend in London, so no worries about a hotel. See everyone in a few days!

Nametag is ready, at least! I've printed on an old plastic nametag. It's nice on font 28.

(Yes, it's him )

(Thought so.... Ahhhh Dommeh  I should have put two and two together seen as you quoted Muse in your sig... But apparently I don't think that far ahead)
