I'm sure I read a post from Ian saying that there would be some brought for those unable/too lazy to bring their own (which makes sense, because we really have to know who everyone is, and some people may forget them). But since then both he and Anna have posted 'don't forget them' so...?

I actually haven't seen what the boat looks like yet, interesting. I was toying with the idea of bringing my camera with me but thought it might be too much hassle. Then I read that people are planning to put together an unofficial DVD of the event so I may have to reconsider. If the boat is as big as I'm hearing then I could easily keep it in a backpack and store it away somewhere when I'm not using it. Hmmm.

 

BRING IT! Seriously, if there was ever reason to own a camera, things like this are it. I'll be bringing two, because I'm a cool kid. Whatever the surprise is, you KNOW it's going to be photo-worthy (or video-worthy...).

 

They really seem to stress viable footwear...I hope the surprise isn't departing for the boat and taking a walking tour of London at night with the Coldplay crew or something :lol:. I wasn't planning on wearing heels in the first place (ugh, I never do), but I'm hoping ballet flats will suffice, because it's either that with my semi-nice clothes or bright red Converse Chuck Taylors :lol:

Are we having a big group photo by any chance ?

^^^Do not get me started on Cloning. I had a four hour lecture on that before. It seems interesting at first and then you realise it is so much more complicated than they make out. :cry:

JEN has a roll of white sticky labels and some felt tips all ready for thos who forget to bring a name tag.

Hi all....I stayed up so late in aus last night praying the info would come earlier. There's just no way I can be there...please offer my spots to next pax on guest list. I hope you all have a blast. Ian knew this was a likely outcome as I had been so Ill this week. This sucks for me!!!!!!x

Thursday is a bit of a logistical nightmare for me, was hoping it would be Fri...will deffo make it work though :D

I was thinking of dressing smartly at first but I'm not sure how everyone else will be dressed.

 

The look of the boat makes me think that what I was planning on wearing would be way too casual and all. So I have no idea what to dress in either (I have nothing smart really...) :thinking:

I know I'm going to look really out of place there, a scruffy 5 ft person

They would have specified smart if they expected us to be smart though, so I wouldn't worry too much. As long as you're warm, that's all that matters :)

I think I'll wear a jean (the one i prefer) + my Coldplay jacket. I'll wear a winter coat, of course. If you've got a Coldplay tee-shirt, you can put a pull-over underneath, black for instance. It's a suggestion.

I think I'm gonna wear my skinny jeans a flowery top and my denim shirt on top aswell as my coat and by boots.

oh wow! this is gonna be soooo cool, that boat is legend! and my boss was fine with me not goin to work,brilliant!!!!!!!!! roll on thursday :-) i am stayin at palmers lodge and will be arrivin about 3 or 4? so am able to meet up early with anyone else who is doin that
