Look, to be frank - This opportunity came from the very top to thank IAN and JEN

for all the hard work that has gone in to making this forum one of the most vibrant on the net.

It's a way of thanking the users as much so, but especially Ian and Jen,

so I can't imagine Deb's saying 'oh, sure, lets just leave without them' for the sake of 45 minutes.

I'll just threaten to jump off of Tower Bridge if we don't wait for you two

What tube station are you near? Hotel wise I mean?

I'm not in a hotel.

I'm in a house.

The closest station to me is Willesden Junction.

Seriously, I'm sure all 100 coldplayers will demand the boat to wait for Ian and Jen, and I don't think they'll throw us all of the boat and go on alone:P

I'll accidentally fall in then they'll have to rescue me and wait for you.

ahh!

There is definitely an open spot for me to go, but there are only two problems:

1.) This is super last minute

and

2.) I would need a robot or GPS to take me there because I AM TERRIBLE with directions and London transport just confuses me.

I DON'T KNOW IF I'LL BE ABLE TO MAKE IT!

:(

I guess I shouldn't complain if it doesn't happen.

I at least was able to meet Chris and Jonny on my birthday.

But I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM!

Makayla,

Listen...You are in London...you flew from Denver to LA to see Coldplay...you waited in line all day to get inside first...you made a beautiful video of you and your brother's trip (still one of my favorites)...you *have* to go to this. So what if it's last minute. It's only one night. You can do this! If you can get around LA in a car, you can get around London - I even managed to DRIVE myself in London when we lived there. You're in London doing something you believe in and are working hard at it, so take a night off to reward yourself for all your hard work :)

GO GO GO GO

With all of this uncertainty, one thing is for sure... there will definitely be a Roadie #42 blog after the boat tour!

Well, at least there should be.

He's been a lazy fucker lately.

there is 1 silver lining - if I make it to this boat I don't think I'm going to be cold. I'll be too hot from rushing around

^very true...always see the positive side of things

I'm not in a hotel.

I'm in a house.

The closest station to me is Willesden Junction.

That's the Bakerloo line, right?

Take it to Aldgate, get off at Moorgate, switch to the Northern Line heading for Morden and get off at London Bridge (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

By looking at that boat I don't think it's going to be that cold

I'm not in a hotel.

I'm in a house.

The closest station to me is Willesden Junction.

Okay from Willesden Junction you need to take the Bakerloo Line to Baker Street, then from there take the Jubilee line to London Bridge...will take about 30 minutes, so if you give yourself over an hour you'll easily do it.

That's the Bakerloo line, right?

Take it to Aldgate, get off at Moorgate, switch to the Northern Line heading for Morden and get off at London Bridge (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Where do we go, Natascha knows... :D

what do these flare guns do?

is that the coast guard coming??

funnaayyyy

Gosh - I was offline for a few hours (packing!) and come back to find all this.

I'm with the faction that says hold up the boat for Jen and Ian. I can practice my "I'm an American, I'm stupid about English lifejackets" bit. You two HAVE to be on board.

Also my international mobile didn't arrive today so it looks like I'll be phone-less. My guest has the number and name to reach me and I HOPE I can get online from the hotel. My flight arrives very early in the a.m. so I hope I can catch some sleep and be down to the pier in time for a warmup drink if that's still on.

Is anyone else so excited they can't talk? I AM.

Where do we go, Natascha knows... :D

:lol::kiss:

I always sing that when I listen to GPASUYF!

Ah, when you work it out I'm worse than you

Yeah, when you work it out I wanted to

Ah, when you work out where to draw the line

Your guess is as good as mine

Well the news that suddenly Jen might not be able to make it because they changed at the last minute has made this thread very quiet...

wonder why

P.S. My vote is still 'tie up the captain'

+1 to Tonsu's vote to tie up the captain...Ian & Jen should be on that boat at all costs!

& this is quite possibly a nonsensical post/idea on my part, but i couldn't help but notice that one of the services the boat hire company offers is a "Personalised Song Service"...

PERSONALISED SONG SERVICE

A unique and special gift, a personally composed and recorded song from just £120 - Song Builders

so are we going to get a Coldplay/CPing-themed "personalised song service" then? :P

DP...brain's all messed up from working late into the night recently...

I'm not in a hotel.

I'm in a house.

The closest station to me is Willesden Junction.

Are you studying abroad?

I also vote for the 'tie up the captain' option (I feel a bit sorry for the Captain though, bloke won't know what's hit him :\)

I wonder what is with the hour earlier anyway? I mean, an extra hour is cool, but it has wrecked all prior arrangements everyone has made!

By the looks of it though, I can leave as soon as I finish my test-- my lecturer told me to sit on the end of a row and just leave as soon as I need to (I explained... And if the guy wasn't cool enough already-- he told me that I shouldn't miss the boat for the world. Inclusive of my degree :stunned:)
