And I agree, I'd rather have more Hopkins influence than Eno....though I could not stomach another Hopkins show as an opening act !

Also- would LOVE to have a good song with Will doing the vocals, great voice he has.

Last night I also had a dream. I was chatting with Will & Chris and they told me the name of LP5. It was one word. Starting with the letter "N". A very strange word. They also told me the name of the first single but I can't remember.

WOW.Just.WOW.I too had a dream about LP5.

 

They were in a huge stadium with thousands of fans and they were cracking jokes (I can't remember them but i remember i laughed at them ) and they revealed that it's title would be

"All Alone on Planet Earth" or something like that anyway and the album cover was a photo f a person really weird you ca't make him/her out fully because there's no head. :shocked2:

Further to the November 2010 Q article[2] revealing the inspiration behind Coldplay's fifth album being old school American graffiti and anti-Nazi movements, Chris Martin spoke to The Sun about some of the tracks within said album.

Aside from song titles beginning with the letter U, Chris revealed there are tracks slated for inclusion on the album including Hurts Like Heaven and Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, which will likely be the album closer. Describing the sound, Chris added that guitarist Jonny Buckland is coming into his own. He said: "'Hurts Like Heaven' is all Jonny. It only has two chords. The songs are group-y, its guitar-y. Johnny is coming out of his cocoon. We're just trying some risky things."

Chris said: "We're hungry and very fired up. In five years we'll be in our late 30s. You have to have your best work done by then. I'm trying to make sure there are three songs that start with the same letter. On the last album it was L. It might be U this time. One of them is Up With The Birds. It might be a duet, but we don't know who with yet."

I can't see them doing that. Given that Chris is still now writing, he's bound to have chosen/will choose a better outro. I can see it as the second-to-last, but certainly not to conclude the album with.

They've always ended their albums with something very low-key. Coldplay records are like a bell curve, with the fastest tempos spanning the middle of the record.

 

Generally speaking, that is. X&Y was kind of bipolar.

 

So if ETIAW was the closer is would certainly be different. I don't think it will be though.
