xxKels Posted January 6, 2011 Share Posted January 6, 2011 I love ASARY ,as well as CSC- hope they do more along that line (oh, including 'Yes"...swoon ! ) And I agree, I'd rather have more Hopkins influence than Eno....though I could not stomach another Hopkins show as an opening act ! The Abyssal Queen The tracklisting was, as follows... 1. Up With The Birds 2. The Abyssal Queen 3. Princess of China 4. Wedding Bells 5. Famous Old Painters 6. Under His Elixir 7. Under Her Elixir 8. Hurts Like Heaven 9. Escaping The Rainstorm 10. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall 11. Lightningrod 12. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall ii And the album cover was really bizarre. They were in a huge stadium with thousands of fans and they were cracking jokes (I can't remember them but i remember i laughed at them ) and they revealed that it's title would be "All Alone on Planet Earth" or something like that anyway and the album cover was a photo f a person really weird you ca't make him/her out fully because there's no head. :shocked2: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Aside from song titles beginning with the letter U, Chris revealed there are tracks slated for inclusion on the album including Hurts Like Heaven and Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, which will likely be the album closer. Describing the sound, Chris added that guitarist Jonny Buckland is coming into his own. He said: "'Hurts Like Heaven' is all Jonny. It only has two chords. The songs are group-y, its guitar-y. Johnny is coming out of his cocoon. We're just trying some risky things." Chris said: "We're hungry and very fired up. In five years we'll be in our late 30s. You have to have your best work done by then. I'm trying to make sure there are three songs that start with the same letter. On the last album it was L. It might be U this time. Coldplay records are like a bell curve, with the fastest tempos spanning the middle of the record. Generally speaking, that is. X&Y was kind of bipolar.
