March 30, 200917 yr Yup it's acting up again!!! Yeah, I saw the "no dates were found" and for a split second I was like "OH MY GOD, my shows are canceled!" (I'm a bit paranoid ever since they moved my first concert last spring ) And I used to love Snow Patrol, I'm bummed that I'm missing them by a couple of days! Oh well :\
March 30, 200917 yr Please can we swap Girls Aloud for Snow Patrol? :idea2: :disappointed: thank god they stopped letting Chris pick the openers! Snow Patrol and Elbow! Now all I need is for Interpol to do a part of the tour.
March 30, 200917 yr If Interpol started supporting on American tour dates I would be very very angry :nice: I think Interpol probably think they're too big for that now though :uhoh:
March 30, 200917 yr :thinking:Could dress as a cow and sneak onto the farm. :D I may have already tried that.... :embarassed: And Snow P and Elbow?! :o Fucking hell you lucky ducks.
March 30, 200917 yr I may have already tried that.... :embarassed: And Snow P and Elbow?! :o Fucking hell you lucky ducks. MOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Mich. I know :disappointed: I wish we had such supporting acts too
March 30, 200917 yr I've seen Snow Patrol and Elbow at the same gig :D Elbow were supporting Snow Patrol
March 30, 200917 yr I was supposed to see BOTH Snow Patrol AND Elbow this Sunday... AND the Killers. But I can't now :bigcry::bigcry::bigcry: *heartbroken*
March 30, 200917 yr i have to say that i'm quite sad by the fact that snow patrol are only opening in june and not may :disappointed:. that would be the PERFECT concert, my favorite band opened by one of my other very favorite bands :bigcry: anyway. i'm really curious as to who's opening the may shows, though i'm pretty certain that whoever it is won't top snow patrol in my opinion.
March 30, 200917 yr Why not Min? :( I can't afford the flight tickets  Before I got confirmation of my leave application they were very very cheap but I couldn't buy it then. Then *bam* overnight it more than doubled in price :stunned: It's really shite. i have to say that i'm quite sad by the fact that snow patrol are only opening in june and not may :disappointed:. that would be the PERFECT concert, my favorite band opened by one of my other very favorite bands :bigcry: anyway. i'm really curious as to who's opening the may shows, that i'm pretty certain that whoever it is won't top snow patrol in my opinion. Looking at the trend, it's probably going to be a band from the British isles :D
March 30, 200917 yr Crap. Have you checked all airlines? i know it's last minute now but maybe that will mean they may have come down a little?
March 30, 200917 yr Crap. Have you checked all airlines? i know it's last minute now but maybe that will mean they may have come down a little? I've checked all I can think of already. The prices still haven't dropped yet though. I still haven't cancelled my annual leave so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for the next couple of days.
March 30, 200917 yr Seriously? Blaaaaaargh. Snow Patrol is just one of the many bands that make a living trying to copy Coldplay. They aren't nearly as good. :disappointed: Whatever, though. Not like I'll ever go to a CP concert anyway, so whatever.
March 30, 200917 yr Well Snow Patrol have been around a lot longer than Coldplay for starters :P They're not bad though, although am not a huge fan of their latest effort. 'When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up' and 'Final Straw' are great. There's some gems on 'Eyes Open' too
March 30, 200917 yr Granted, Snow Patrol didn't achieve mainstream popularity until later. One of my favorite bands, although they have yet to produce an album that blows me away in every regard. Disappointed they won't be playing at my venue. :(
March 30, 200917 yr Well Snow Patrol have been around a lot longer than Coldplay for starters I'm just going to completely ignore the fact that you proved me utterly wrong and rendered my point useless. Lahdeedah I don't really like them that much, that's all. Actually, Coldplay is about the only Coldplay-esque band I really enjoy, oddly. :inquisitive:
March 30, 200917 yr i'm not a big fan of the newest album either, but eyes open is one of my favorite albums of all time, and final straw doesn't fall too far behind. and i don't understand where people get the "snow patrol copying coldplay" thing...like mich said, they've been around for longer, and though they're both softish rock with romantic, emotional lyrics, i don't see a TON of musical similarities. i see snow patrol as more cinematic and epic, with coldplay more...personal, in a way. i don't know how to say what i mean, so i'm not going to try any further :P
March 30, 200917 yr I know, it sucks poor kittens and that stupid band is making us feel like 2nd category fans
March 30, 200917 yr  <- that was for everyone in Latin America. South of the border luv, you guys. Your whole position is suckish. :shame:
March 30, 200917 yr :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry: ohhh god :bigcry: poor kittens :bigcry:... Edit: ^^ thanks for the hug *hugs back* :nice:
March 31, 200917 yr  <- that was for everyone in Latin America. South of the border luv, you guys. Your whole position is suckish. :shame: *hugs back*

Their songs are okay once in a while IMO
