Good morning - and a happy Boxing Day to you. We're pleased to announce that Coldplay will be playing at the [ame=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=kxjLysy1xS4]Parc des Princes[/ame] in Paris, France on 7th September 2009. Tickets go on sale on 7th January from livenation.fr.

 

Meanwhile, those of you in the UK can currently watch Coldplay's appearance on yesterday's Top Of The Pops Christmas special on the BBC's iPlayer here. They're on after 51 minutes.

7-inch and digital bundle released in Feb

Good afternoon. We're pleased to confirm that Coldplay's next UK single will be Life In Technicolor ii. The track will be released on 7-inch vinyl and digital bundle on Monday February 2nd. The B-side of the 7-inch will be The Goldrush, a song which is previously unheard, unreleased and unperformed. As well as that track, the digital bundle will contain Life In Technicolor ii (Live @ The O2, London).

 

We'll have the video on the site for you in the next couple of weeks, but in the meantime the artwork for the 7-inch vinyl is below...

The video will apparently have a little boy in it, according to this article (the brother of the girl that plays Nasty Nick's daughter in Eastenders UK fans :P)

 

Molly’s six-year-old brother, Jack, also has the acting bug. He has appeared in The Bill and is currently filming in a video for Coldplay.

Interesting. :) If this news is true, I'm excited about seeing what's coming out of it.

It's funny, because I've lately been thinking about that it's been a long time since Coldplay have had actors in their music videos. Well (maybe except The Hardest part with the dancers and hosts :P), they haven't had an actor since God Put a Smile upon Your Face in 2003.
