March - Coldplay announce the name and date of LP5 to be released in mid-late May.

I would prefer to see them make something really good then finish quick and make a sub par album that is crap and didnt take long to make.

 

Also Im hoping they pull something like they did at Glasto 2002 and release it after Glasto and I can be there for the premiere of some awesome new tunes.

I would happily wait another year for LP 5 to be released on condition it was mind blowing. But I'm expecting it this Spring/Summer as I'm hoping that as I felt VLV was their Unforgettable Fire their next one will be their Joshua Tree!

Yup , im pretty sure music will be out on tuesday , and probably on monday in the UK.. so that they can count all of the week for the sales .. :rolleyes:

 

Ima go with May.. 2nd or 3rd week of may , with The first single beeing out by late Feb or march ( the first 15 days ) .. something like that

 

Probably European tour arround the release of the album ( June - July - Agoust ) They might squeezee in A Japan tour or an Asian one there too ..

 

Then a latinoamerican one towards October , and then Maybe a second european leg or USA tour

yeah, i know what you mean.

but i don't think Coldplay would ever release something they're not completely satisfied with, and they have some pretty high standards as far as i can tell, so i'm not too worried. :P

i really think the festival stuff is their way of hinting at the release date. i just don't want to wait forever for this album. the longer they wait to release something, the better it has to be...

That day Coldplay says that the album is finish, I will be one of those freaks who dances arround with my :awesome: face. :facepalm: :lol:

I'm not sure if it means anything, but this morning I looked in the music section on my TV cable's (Comcast) "on demand" section, and they added a few Coldplay videos today (Live 8 Bittersweet Symphony, Christmas Lights, and LiJ). There haven't been any Coldplay videos on there in a few months I think. Comacast usually puts artist videos on when they are either 1) currently on the music scene, or 2) are about to be based on info from record companies.

 

Maybe that's a hint?
