Stupid statement, as that is what is happening already

I know you mean the people disagreeing with the idea, and they are obviously interested in thread

try harder

I'm not sure what you mean exactly...? What should I be trying harder at?

Try harder at making sentences that don't undermine your argument by making you look silly

Well, look. This isn't really that hard to get.

The INTERESTED people are the ones that have posted in this thread, INCLUDES the ones doing all the naysaying that you are speaking against. The uninterested people simply have not posted.

This is obviously not what you intended to say.

What you really mean to say is 'haters get out' or sth of the such.

Instead you replaced it with something else that ruins your intention.

Such a thing is stupid.

people asking for pics = media interested = paps getting pics for money = band members annoyed. It's as simple as that.

There are definitely pictures from ages ago on here in various threads if you want them - do a search and you'll probably find them. I may have some oldish ones somewhere but if so they are all from this board anyway so have been posted before by other people and will already be in threads.

For everyone who will come on here to fight over whether to post/discuss families, I think the best policy is if you don't want to see pictures or discuss it, simply don't open these kind of threads. Chloe has a right to create the thread, as it's not actually offensive to anyone, and want to see pictures without being

abused by other members. If you don't want to see threads like this, ignore and dont open or reply to them and it will soon disappear to page two. But let's keep it civil on the board!

Creep's gonna creep.

Creep's gonna creep.

let's go to Jonny's house to stalk him :cheesy: maybe we can even play with his kids

I think perhaps you misunderstood what I was saying. Firstly I have nothing against the people who don't agree with this thread. I don't see them as "Haters" - just people with different views! I was simply suggesting that in the future, to avoid repeating the same old arguments about this subject, the people who disagree with the posting of partner pictures or discussing this subject should instead ignore these type of threads rather than keep voicing their disapproval. That way the threads would disappear far quicker and people wouldn't end up endlessly arguing like this, which does nothing to make the board a nice place to be. It was my suggestion for a solution to what seems to be a regularly causing dispute.

I think maybe you might benefit from a less aggressive approach to your answers as it really isn't necessary, particularly when I don't think you actually understand the suggestion I was making.

My God, someone wants to know what the wives of the members look like and suddenly everybody labels the person as a stalker, creep, etc. Come on guys, chill out a bit.

you never know who's reading this. it's a public site and creepy stalkers are everywhere. Btw in many fan forums talking about private stuff isn't allowed.

private life is called private for a reason. I'm sure the band members wouldn't be happy with these kind of threads and requests and if you love them so much you should respect them.

Completely agreed. Some of the fans on here are parents, I'm sure they can understand how bad it could be if their children were being bothered and their pictures posted on forums. . . .

Exactly.

I know that in the Muse Messageboard, anything remotely private is not allowed. No pictures with the girlfriend, wife, children, etc. Even with the recent news about Matt Bellamy becoming a father, any discussion of that wasn't allowed. Threads were locked (I counted 15), and some people even received infractions. We're lucky in our forum that the mods aren't as strict and that a Gwyneth thread is allowed, we shouldn't push it.

is COLDPLAY Partners and not Chris, Jonny, Guy, Will Partners ? :inquisitive:

Coldplay is Coldplay, the guys is the guys

but interests me greatly

they have a private life? usually not the celebrities.

but I'm not famous and I could not keep my private life. I had to be a groupie of service instead of my own life . So CREEP

this thread

and here well I think that the Guys honest with us.

But I am still waiting the pictures of the couple Mr.Mrs Martin for long time now

OMG I hope that Matt Bellamy are well.

it's a public person and usually goes with the job the inconvenience of not being able to have a private life. and they know the famous

I love Coldplay and they are one of only two bands in which I get excited by their future plans and their work. However my love of the band does not go any further than the music they create and most certainly does not go and will never go into their private lives. I really don't think threads like these should be created. Private lives are what they are - private. The band would respect you for keeping their private lives just that.

so lucky :blank:

you people are the reason famous people say it sucks to be famous.

:disappointed:

Could we please stop bumping this (and yes, I understand I'm contradicting myself by posting this and subsequently (is that the right word?) bumping it) - I'm just highly disturbed by the fact that someone associated with the band (for example Phil - who I don't think would like the mention of his wife in the first post) might read this.

Gwyneth is one thing since she's a public person as well as the band but the rest of their families haven't chosen a life in the spotlight and I think that should be respected.

That's me, done.

I didn't misunderstand what you were saying at all, that was exactly what I assumed you meant. You just want to dance around calling them negative nancies, that's all.
