Most random place you've heard a CP song?

Featured Replies

I heard Talk on Radio 2 at work this morning - not really a random place to hear a Coldplay song, but a bit of a random song choice imo - i hadn't heard Talk on the radio in years. :stunned:

I've actually heard Talk quite a few times on the radio

Yay, I FINALLY heard a Coldplay song somewhere! It was Trouble :nice: I was at the mall and I just had to sat down and sing quietly

I just had knee surgery this past week, and the doctors had Pandora, so they put on Coldplay songs, and the first one was The Scientist, and when they put in the anesthesia I got upset for about five seconds before it knocked me out. I literally yelled, "Hey! I'm still listening!" at them.

Also, I heard Spies at a Starbucks a week or two ago. I don't usually go into Starbucks so it was a pleasant surprise.

They played Princess of China in MacDonalds this morning! :D

McDonalds seems to really like Coldplay (I've heard Paradise a plenty of times there and Charlie Brown once last week)

In the town that I live in. Me and my friend randomly walked around, and then we heard Paradise from somewhere. :surprised:

Today I was cycling trough the city, while listening to VLV on my mp3-player.

At that moment I passed a guy playing guitar, playing VLV :shocked2::cool:....

I stopped and enjoyed the song, after that I gave the guy all my money.... :smug:

I take my daughters to a Toys'Rus store around our house sometimes. Almost every time we were there, they played Viva La Vida. Also heard Strawberry Swing at Ikea the other day.

i shop/hang out there enough that i've gotten to know several of them employees, and i was in the store one time and one of the managers decided to switch up the music really suddenly. it went from some metal band to "every teardrop is a waterfall".

the looks on the other customers faces were hilarious.

:laugh3:

There's a coffee shop right next door to the store I work at in the mall, and one day I was hanging out there, and they played "Parachutes". Not the whole album, but the actual song . By the time you get excited about the fact they're being played, the song is over :laugh3:!

I was at the grocery store going to get some oranges and it started to play Talk!! I was so shocked I stood and listed to the song and almost forgot about the oranges.

I'd give him my money too:D

I went to a shoe shop last time and they were playing Death and All His Friends. I was very surprised !

The shoes were horrible, though.

i was sitting in my room and i heard "The Scientist" playing from another house

I heard Every Teardrop is a Waterfall on a local hard rock station :surprised: it was apparently because the radio DJ people liked the song that much that they were gonna play it... On their hard rock station

Charlie Brown at the Subway sandwich store.

Ordered my sandwich while quietly hopping along to the song ;)

Today i heard the end of ETIAW on television at the soccer game between AC milan and barcelona and it made me proud :D The whole Arena filled with that amazing-full-of-adrenaline-song!!! (After that they played an old Rihanna song, wich was kind'a sad). BUT THEY PLAYED COLDPLAY <3

^ Yay!!! I even watched a little part of it, and thought that maybe they would've played something by them... I can't believe they actually did! :awesome:

Oh, dear. That song shouldn't have to be associated with that show in any way, shape, or form.
