May 29, 201115 yr I read the last pages And I really think coldplay had this whole thing planned time ago "the single has been in music distributors hands since April" as a comment said. If I'm right it's a great idea,2 weeks before festivals they start giving clues 1 week before they release it They let people listen to the song,and then play it live,while they promote lp5 And the oracle was lying about not playing new music at festivals !! :D This could turn into a great week

May 29, 201115 yr I dont think something new will appear today :S Maybe only Monday. well, i am about to leave and go on a bike ride now. since it seems like Coldplay most often post things when i am away from the computer, perhaps everyone should keep their eyes open for the next hour or so. :P
May 29, 201115 yr Additionally The ambience from the latest video sounds very Brian Eno. Very similar to the intro of U2s Where The Streets Have No Name and MLK Agreed. I also believe the section where it starts to build up has a very Jon Hopkins feel/sound to it. The more uptempo vibe beneath that wall of synth makes me think of his music... Almost like "Light Through the Veins". Hmm. It's great :)

And there was an UK source saying "No new material before Glastonbury" of which a newspaper made "No new material at the festivals" and people went crazy :D Probably the source meant Glastonbury = begin of the festival season and even if they released a single this week that quoted statement wouldn't have been veeery wrong.
