I thought the lyrics were terrible at first for the most part, but as time went on I think the one's they released only got better and better.

The wa wa wa wa waterfall part I'll bet will be the best part of the song and be a huge sing-a-long and when they play it live they'll go through the last part of the song twice like they used to do with Everything's Not Lost.

MMMMM, "Everything's Not Lost."

Party in the USA should be added to the poll

Judging by lyrics alone...they are pretty on par with each other unfortunately, but I'm still hoping that the music is going to utterly blow my mind, we shall see lol.

It's gonna be a rap and they're gonna be all gangsta :awesome:

I was thinking exactly the same. Wa wa wa wa waterfall can surely only qualify for lyrics as an epic mass singalong/chant.

Why not Barbra Streisand?

omg 19-18 for Friday

WA-WA-WA-WA-WA-WATERFALL-YO

Where did this wa wa waterfall come from? ....just wondering.

They're part of the lyrics to Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall, according to the news post on coldplay.com

*runs to the store to buy myself some baggy pants and bling bling* :p

what a stupid thread - how can you even ask yourself that question?

and the worst thing is that I accidentally voted for Friday

No the worst thing is that you did so by accident ;)

someone should do a cover of that.

Briggins should, since he still owes us those Coldplay covers for voting for his website in that Canadian competition. :whip:

party in the usa
I knew you were gonna come up in hhuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and say that! :awesome:

The only lyric I really have a problem with is the "I TURN THE MUSIC UP, I GOT MY RECORDS ON" just sounds so cheesy. The rest I think are actually quite good...
