But it made even more clear to me that it is actually "under cover of dark". Although, is more evident that it is not anything like "every surfaces are names", but I couldn't figure out what he have said.
August 4, 201114 yr I don't see how you peps can hear "Cover". If you put "Cover" and "Color" in a speaker software you'll see the difference. The accented syllable is the first. "Coh" "Lhor". "Co" "Vahr". I'm still very sure. But we still have to wait until the release, since they change it so much...
August 4, 201114 yr I listened to your mp3 and I can only hear "cover". I've listened to almost all the versions out there and I've never heard "colour". I am 99.98% sure he sings "cover" and it makes a whole lot more sense than "colour".

Under cover of dark = coberto pela escuridão. Under color of dark = não faz sentido nenhum semanticamente e não é adequado sintaticamente. Se a palavra fosse "color", necessariamente haveria "the" antes. "Under the color of anything". Listne to any other version. He says cô..., not có.... Color would be có. ;)

August 22, 201114 yr they really need to nicely layer those backing vocals!.... or else it could turn out.. a little.. not good :\ a wee bit too much auto-tune for me, but if they do it right, IT COULD POSSIBLY BE AWESOME! here's to hoping they don't do anything too drastic with these backing vocals! :D
