It's frustrating... The girl I used to like, who I mentioned earlier, now has a boyfriend. That isn't even the worst part, it was just perfect when we first started liking each other, everyone was talking about how we should have just got with each other instead of wasting time about it and I guess they were all right. I still get told a few times that we'd have made a great couple and it's patronising in all honesty, they're many months too late to be telling me that and it's pretty much a kick in the balls, knowing that the perfect girl for me has fucked off. We liked each other, why didn't I just do something about it? I wouldn't be thinking about it this much, I only recently started to think about her again because of something that has happened very recently.

theres this guy that i really really like and hes my best friend. I dont know if he likes me or not

but she tried to get him to got out with her and he is the first guy EVER! that has turned her down :P

 

recently she has been saying that i'm gonna cop it (because he turned her down) so she is trying to get him to like her and all this stuff and i think he is actually starting to fall for her :(

You say you're worried that it'll wreck your friendship. Back when I was in high school, I had this guy (who was one of my best friends at the time) who I fell for multiple times. In a two-year span, I told this guy that I liked him three times. THREE. Not once did he judge me for liking him, nor did he judge me for the fact that this happened so many times. He told me that while he was flattered and while he still viewed me as a friend, he didn't want a relationship with anyone. He just wasn't interested.

 

Anyway, my point here is that if he's as great of a friend as you say he is (which he must be because, y'know, he's your best friend), he won't suddenly unfriend you. He'll talk with you about everything openly and be honest, and he won't judge you on those things. If he does, well, then he really wasn't as good of a person as you thought he was, and you should probably re-evaluate your friendship with him.

 

But yeah. Talk to him. I know, it's scary. I've been down that road many times. You'll feel so much better, though, when it's all said and done. I hope this helps. Good luck. :hug:
