2. Will's beautiful singing during the Viva and Jonny's approval in the 13th second.

(Even Jay Z had fun [3:36])

3. Mistake during the UATW. I didn't notice that there was any mistake but well if Chris says so. At least we could hear Will twice :D

Yeah, I wanted to add more but (well if I didn't already) I would come across as a stupid psycho fan.

I was also quite surprised that Gwyneth knew what he's singing at the end of Life Is For Living.

I bet that as soon as Chris is out they secretly listen to his music

I never thought it would be possible to love Politik more...but whatever they have been feeding Jonny they need to give him more. A song that I saw as perfect before sounds even better with Jonny turning the gain up and adding another interval to the solo.

I was watching and had a "Holy shit, this song just got better, IMPOSSIBLE!"

Charlie Brown which is my favourite of all the new ones was just pure awesome. I love the four part harmony on "Light a fire, light a spark, light a flame in my heart" bit. Plus the riff at the end where Chris jacks the crowd up to 11.

I really wish I had gone. I hope they play again in 2013 as they should be closing their tour as I'd love to see them

because coldplay is the new king of glastonbury. the owner of the throne.

now the old king is dead, long life the new king

You can't be more right!!! For me, they are the best band at this moment :) I was listening the concert in the radio and I was very touched with every song!!!

Coldplay have been the "kings" of Glastonbury ever since their fantastic 2005 performance.

Plus Michael Eavis himself calls them Glastonbury's "house band", so that makes it official.:smug:

I think, from this June, it is like a Coldplay festival, isn't it? I can't say this is their Peak time but "waves after waves" - they've given us so much happiness and excitement. I still remember the very first time I listened to Yellow, a quiet/cool summer night, with a friend - I feel floating out - like "love at the first sight". As an astrology fan, I believe in universe synchronization. One of the wonderful life experiences is the universal one feeling you are a universal being - the mysterious connection and resonance.

This is definitely a special year for "Co-latives" - the astrological progressed pattern might have sth. for that ~ For the bigger scope, Neptune just returns to Pisces - its own domain - to me, Coldplay always has a strong Neptune energy in them. The recent eclipses with Transiting North Node [evolutionary direction] closer to the center of Galaxy, residing in Spiritual/Idealism Sagittarius.

Isn't it so, Spirit? :)

Simple. It was epic because Coldplay was epic

And the only way Clocks could have been more awesome was if they played the Twisted Logic tour version. :wacky: I want to hear that live before I die!

Oooh totally agree.

I hoped that they'll put both the versions together for this tour. Maybe next time ;o But yeah X&Y era's Clocks was far beyond awesome.

The only thing that would make this better (I saw it on TV and think it was epic, can't see the videos though) is minus ETIAW and plus Spies/AROBTTH. I still think ETIAW is a terrible closer, and it just doesn't fit with Coldplay and the other songs. But I'm just a whiny little bitch. And Clocks should really be played in the full version, not the cut, that would be a lot better (Twisted Logic version was also full, so that would be cool).

Everything's not lost and Shiver are simply great. I also like how they've got Politik back the way it should be, even better than before. If you see this video from when I saw them at Werchter in 2009, you'll know what I mean.

But well we shouldn't blame them. Original Clocks had so many youuu uoooh's that probably they were already bored in halfway through the song.

And I can understand what you mean about the ETIAW. You're right maybe, but think about the festivals. This song gives a lot of joy, colours, beats. You can just forget about everything and have fun during it. Imagine hearing it live. Well I didn't yet but I will in two days. It's so powerful that people can jump and throw out all their energy 'til there's nothing left. Although I understand your statement I think that it's a good closer. Maybe not so-in-their-style but gives a chance to just ehm...party? lol.

I get what you mean. I will see them live this Saturday and I can only imagine being amazed until at the end ETIAW is played. I'll probably think "what the fff..." to say it with Chris' own words, but who knows I may enjoy it.
