August 31, 200916 yr In summer 2008' date=' Grizzly Bear opened for Radiohead on the second leg of their North American tour. In Toronto, on their last date of the tour together, Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood spoke of his love for Grizzly Bear, on stage, calling them his favorite band. [6] Of the experience, Taylor has commented: “It was shocking, and kind of unbelievable. It still is unbelievable. Opening for Radiohead was a huge honour for us, as a band and as individuals. We’ve all had long-term relationships with Radiohead’s music, so we didn’t want to take that opportunity for granted, and do anything less than the best we could." [7] Christopher has also commented that it "was like a dream." This is probably old news for you guys :P but I've just read it

August 31, 200916 yr Why couldn't the whole concert have been recorded instead of just six songs!? :bigcry: Therers more. On the BBc Website you can see 42 mins of it, they have a 2 hour set for Arctic Monkeys there too but you cant view it outside the UK:(. I saw Panaroid Android but I was kinda annoyed Johnny was doing the whole solo and they kept the camera on Thom and Ed, and not until 3 quaters of it they went to Johnny:angry: But great performance none the less.
