March 1, 201115 yr radiohead is so depressing (Down) it don't like me but their sound is good.... and the end, i don't listen to them
March 1, 201115 yr Oh and by the way, for people here in the States... If you have Comcast as your cable provider, this morning they added the Lotus Flower video to the music video section On Demand (free obviously). So now you can study the dance moves in your living room on your big screen TV and rewind and pause and replay and all that good stuff. :awesome: Actually I'm kind of surprised it is already on there. I thought the music had to be officially released (i.e., later this month) before they could post videos. Oh well, I'm certainly not complaining!
March 1, 201115 yr he's complaining about how old the tree is wtf liam should go plant a tree and screw it if he loves "new" trees so much better /random meanie comment
March 1, 201115 yr Electioneering was my uni song since when my friends visited we'd request Radiohead (since they'd be playing the likes of Razorlight and crap like that) and all he had was that one song, so that was the highlight of the night usually.
March 2, 201115 yr Have you guys heard about Robotanists? They redid King of Limbs in 24 hours, just after Radiohead released it http://robotanists.bandcamp.com/album/robotanists-does-radiohead-the-king-of-limbs-in-24-hours
March 2, 201115 yr ^got around to listening to that. Extremely impressive to have recorded all of that in 24 hours.
March 3, 201115 yr Just a little FYI for anyone who ordered the Newspaper Album... Last night during the listening party I mentioned to Mike that I have a book called "Saving Stuff" which I thoroughly read last year, it was written by a guy who is a senior conservator at the Smithsonian. There are a few pages about the best way to care for / store / save newspapers, in case you want to keep the Newspaper Album looking as good as possible for as long as possible. I found the book last night, and sometime in the next few days I can post the corresponding pages here. He offers helpful advice for different levels of preservation: "quick and dirty", "middle of the road", and "pharoh's tomb". I doubt anyone here will want to go to the third extreme, but I'll post it anyway.
March 3, 201115 yr I listened to it today while on a coach and it was pretty nice. Very relaxed and easy to follow. ETA: I'm interested in those pages/techniques etc., please post them soon!
March 3, 201115 yr It's literally a newspaper album? The albums aren't of course, but my understanding is that everything else that comes with it is in newspaper format.
