Director: Thom Yorke Wrote New Song for New Moon Soundtrack

 

According to the film's director, Thom Yorke really did write a new song for the soundtrack to the Twilight sequel New Moon.

 

New Moon director Chris Weitz confirmed the news in an interview with HitFix.com that took place at Comic-Con. According to HitFix, Weitz will get his first listen to the track tomorrow. "Unless it's sounds of him belching, I think I'll put it in," Weitz said. To be honest, there probably is a market out there for sounds of Thom Yorke belching."

although it sucks he's going to be included in a film, that's going to attract people that would not normally listen to thom/radiohead at least we'll get a new Thom song

The strangest thing happened today. i saw this dude who looked so much like Thom that I did a double take when i walked into the room. he noticed me staring at him for a really long time (it was in a bar) so I eventually just talked to him. he said he gets it a lot, and that's how he found out about radiohead, and now he's a big fan and really enjoys looking like thom xD ...i bet he gets a lot of girls. much too old for me though :P

 

Oh he also said he was seriously considering trying to keep his left eye squinty all the time. but he was still also a good 4 inches taller than thom.

lucky! for all points west I got somewhat close (like 30 rows from the stage or so)... it was an amazing show, but it'd be great to get even closer :D

at victoria park i was probably 15 rows back. twas cool. But one day I'll get front row... :(
