Still on my first listen, everyone who's saying the second half is stronger I agree with. I have to listen to it a few more times though, I had Lotus Flower on repeat last night and now I'm completely in love with the song so hopefully the same is going to happen with the rest!

I've listened to the album 5 times now and I think it is seriously brilliant and I can't possibly pick a favorite. I'm not too sure about there being a Part 2 (although I hope there is!) I really don't think we should all get our hopes up!

I mean Coldplay are even saying now that they want shorter albums.

It's just brilliant. The textures, the ambience, the samples, the beats, the vocals, the bass. They never give you quite what you expect, but they always blow your mind.

They all have their old titles except for Separator which was known as "Mouse, Dog, Bird" when thom played those songs.

Aaah, I downloaded the album this morning and put it on my ipod because I was going to listen to it between classes, but I left my ipod at home so I didn't get a chance to listen to it til now. D: I'm listening to it for the third time, and a lot of the songs are growing on me, especially the first half. Feral feels like filler to me though and that's a shame because it's such a short album anyway...

 

Also, I really wouldn't get my hopes up for more to be released tomorrow. I could see them releasing their 9th album within the next year or two, or possibly a bonus disk when they ship the album out in May. And I just want to say, I think the fact that people think the lyrics of Separator suggests that they're releasing more tomorrow is just silly.

I wouldn't say the end of the lyrics talk for tomorrow... I mean i don't see anything really happening tomorrow. I just find it interesting, and might mean a release in the future.
