apparently they want a picture of EVERYONE who gets a newspaper. which means strictly 1 per person.

it's really going to be chaos in the bigger cities.

still, my friend in auckland who knows the newspaper giver outers are trying their hardest for me!

There's plenty of record (vinyl) stores in/around Detroit too. I mean, hellllooooooooo, Motown. Oh well, that's okay; I'll survive.

I can't figure out why they didn't mail/freight a couple of boxes of these suckers to record stores all over the world, really, are there no Radiohead fans in Central or South America??? Why concentrated on the East/West Coasts in the States.

 

Middle America always feels left out of gig circuits. This would have been a great way to include these kinds of places with very little expense.

Random question... does anybody know why they are distributing The Universal Sigh on Tuesday in the US and Canada, but they are distributing it everywhere else on Monday?

 

 

Also, I thought it would be a good time to bump my prior post re: keeping newspapers look as good as possible for as long as possible. Obviously the original intent was for TKOL newspaper album, but it will certainly apply with The Universal Sigh also. If anyone thinks people on atease might want to know, feel free to pass the info along there too.

All I can say is, thank god for time zones. A friend will try to get a copy for me in Brussels and if there's none left, two other friends will try in Manchester. :dance:

The tweets that come up on that link are talking about some sort of code in the newspaper; just one more thing to drive people batty.

 

So they are having everyone pose with the same dude. If I were there I'd want to make it different... someone needs to pose with him and act like they were licking the dude's face or something. Seriously I need to see something goofy.

Because it's supposed to coincide with the physical release of the album...and albums in Europe are released on Mondays, while albums in North America are released on Tuesdays.
