For those curious what section 18 looks like...this is probably it. It's from a UCLA graduation. The next photo in the stream looks like the same kind of seating chart.

 

I emailed the Summer Krush gmail and asked if any of the free tickets were going to be in any obstructed view sections. This is the response I just got:

They might have some band opening. They have this opening act contest going on, and when I went last year they had the band that won perform before the main act.

So I forgot my parking pass and they won't issue me another one. Good thing my friend works at UCLA or I would be extra pissed.

It's funny how I was just at the UCLA tennis center a few days ago for the Farmer's Classic ATP tennis tournament, but I still forget what view section 18 had.

 

Here's another picture I found, so I guess there is no obstructed view at all.

That last map has a different layout than the one used for Coldplay on Ticketmaster.. Guess we will find out tomorrow! :D

Hey guys, I won free tickets and i'm really confused. The free tickets from samsungsummerkrush say the concert starts at 6:30 PM and that you should show up 30 minutes before. However, on official tickets from ticketmaster that I bought it says the concert starts at 8PM. Can anyone help explain this? I emailed summerkrush but have not yet heard back?

I have a friend who works at UCLA. According to them they were asked to go to the concert as a seat-filler and their name is on a list. Does this make any sense? The concert definitely sold out and they are not lying.

i don't think i am going to show up early. even tho i won free tickets. my friends get off of work at 4 so i'm we should be on the freeway by 445. which means i will arrive right at 6ish. but i don't think there will be a problem if we are like 15 mins late right?? i mean for the won tix..

Crossing fingers they play a full set...can't wait to hear the first note of MX (assuming they start with that). Wonder if there will be the fireworks they have been using at the festivals?? So many questions!!!
