Do you guys really think that they would release a 3 song EP with 3 BRAND NEW SONGS and not put at least one on the album? even the LEAD SINGLE?? Every Tear will be the ending song of LP5. They've said it was a good closer for a long time now. Or even if it doesn't close i think it will be in there somewhere. It just doesn't make any sense to leave it or Major Minus Media off the album.

and if they were going to release the official 'SINGLE' from the album i'd say that Hurts Like Heaven has the best chance. Being the kick off to the shows and being the hyper-alt-rock anthem it has the potential to be! (Just dont screw with Chris's voice!!!)

Exciting! I knew it was going to be October but I was hoping for September before the Grammys deadline. More publicity = more sales!

It's true that the guys said ETiaW will be the album closer, but they also said that LP5 will be more stripped back and acoustic-y, which has obviously changed based off what we've heard. I think that if they were going to include ETiaW on the album they would have said something like 'the new song off our fifth studio album' or something along those lines, but they didn't even mention LP5 when they dropped the EP.

 

There's still a chance for all the songs we've heard to make the album, but honestly I think we'll only be getting 2-3 of them, and I'n doubting whether any of the EP songs are among them. :shrug:

To go along with this, in response to what CharlieBrown said. Again. They gave us LRLRL for free. They gave us Violet Hill for free. They crafted the last album so you can buy two songs for the price of one on iTunes (LiJ/RoL etc.). So yes. After all of that, I'm very sure they're going to make us pay for the SAME songs twice and give us studio versions of songs that will make it on the album a whole 4 months before it's even released and 1-2 months before the tracklist is even decided on. That makes perfect sense. :rolleyes:

^spending time on the computer searching things about lp5 instead of doing my homeworks , right know it's what i'm doing :D . but it's not two often, and it's not too much a punishment, just like a little call attention, since the release of etiaw it has only happened to me like two times :P, but anyway i agree if you think it's odd, i also think it's odd, just wanted to know if i have been the only one :)
