Coldplay's "Don't Panic" Used to Wake Atlantis Space Shuttle Crew

The crew of the space shuttle Atlantis woke up to the sounds of Coldplay Monday night.

NASA's official Twitter account noted that Coldplay's song "Don't Panic," off their debut album Parachutes, was used as the wake-up song Monday at 9:59 p.m. ET. Their hit "Viva La Vida" was previously used for the crew over a week ago.

Atlantis is expected to return to Florida's Kennedy Space Center on Thursday.

:surprised: That must be weird! Do you actually see it, or is it too late at that point?

Too late, and it's dropping nose first until just before they level out to land, it's pretty cool, now if they descend somewhere over the US because of weather they actually fly like an airplane once they level out, and if it's clear close to the place they are landing you can spot them.

I have watched every take-off in my backyard and I am about 40 mins. from the Cape.

D'awww...listening to 'We live in a beautiful world' in space (!),looking at the whole of our planet...that must be a special feeling.
