Viva La Vida LP comes out the 12 june 2008 and the European Tour started the 1st September the same year... so it's possible isn't it ?!

P.S : In France the tickets were on sale around end june 2008.

I'm going to predict that the UK will get 1 or 2 dates on the European "Arena" tour, with the main UK tour being in outdoor venues next June/July with the highlight being 2 shows in Hyde Park.

I have a serious case of Live Envy which is only going to get worse as September progresses. these rumoured dates are not helping! :(

The Bercy concert was deleted from the facebook page. I guess the changed their plans :(

I'm really hoping I don't regret changing my travel plans... as I changed hoping that Paris date was at least correct...

The band is recording a program for a tv channel. It's not live. French could see the program on TV in October. Anyway it's shown late on tv. The best is to record it but we can also watch it on replay on a TV website. I don't think you could watch it. Those programs can only be watched in France. :dozey: I wanted to attend it but I knew it too late. Anyway, there are so many requests ; only some of them have received a "ticket" to participate the show. Apparently, they got 2 tickets/person (for the winner and his guest).

Just fyi, they're supposed to play a prime time tv show in Italy on December 5th, according to the tv show host (who is quite famous and appreciated here, so it's a good promotion for them, not that they needed it here)..not sure the date is 100% true as I still don't know whether the show is live or pre-recorded. If it ends up being live I guess it would clash with this supposed date

According to Billboard the dates will be announced around the time the album is released.

The article in Billboard magazine says that they are going to do shows in Eastern Europe playing new markets like Finland and Russia. :nice:

 

It would be a super cool thing if this is true. :cool:

All though at least in Finland these kind of "first concerts" tends to be super expensive. Tickets starting from 90/100€ - just because of the demand is so high.

 

Anyways the Stockholm and maybe the Wembley will call me again... Hoping that the dates will be published soon. ;)

Oh i thought that was for the tour starting in April. So the dates for December will be announced then too?

It would be awesome (if I can afford it) if they're going to play in Herning! :wacko: It's the same town as last time but this time I actually live close to it so I could save time and money on travelling. :) And I wouldn't have to miss classes.

So I'm crossing my fingers for it to be true.

:DSorry to anyone from the US I think sod off, Coldplay are a British/European band and it makes sense for them to start their tour in Europe and the UK. Personally I can't wait for them to comeback to UK in Spring if thats the plan...will be wicked!
