I actually like all three of their albums. Hopes and Fears the most, but I don't think Perfect Symmetry is too horrible (shoot me-I like Night Train too, besides Inshin Denshin).

Although the first time I heard Spiralling, I wasn't really sure what to think.

 

I hope Sovereign Light Cafe and Disconnected will be on their new album - more like old Keane. :fingersx:

I TOTALLY agree with you on the Rihanna part. That's why I'm really like ''WTF''. Why did they pick Rihanna?! So random, does not match Coldplay at all. I'm scared they will change, do some pop music that will be on the radio all the time, and people will go like ''OMG I LOVE COLDPLAY MY FAVOURITE SONG BY THEM IS POC'' and they never heard Parachutes or AROBTTH... :inquisitive:

 

I totally agree. You're not alone. I used to have this feeling with Viva La Vida too, as it was such a massive hit and atypical of Coldplay. But in the end it's a really good song, especially when you compare it to ETIAW or Paradise.

I still think ETIAW is a great song with as much "up-lift" as VLV. Paradise? Not so much. Someone compared it to Yellow and I puked a little...

since the last days i started again to listen all over coldplay records...and the complete viva la vida album is EPIC..i love it so much!
