Does anyone who disliked this song from the beginning feel it has grown on them since first listen?

Featured Replies

I liked the song from first listen but I know alot of people did not. Has this changed after repeat listens?

5 times were enough for me to realize I won't change my mind :D

Yeah, it has grown on me. Actually I can't get the melody out of my head, and the Para para part is literally jammed in my brain and I can't get rid of it. Say what you will about the song, but it is catchy as hell. Probably why it is the single.

It's catchy and para para doesn't get out of my head. :bomb: But I think it's growing on me.

Wasn't a fan on my first listen. But I've grown to like it. Nice chords, especially at the end.

it's a grower.

I think it can fit nicely to the album,

but as a single I'm not sure yet

When I heard the 30 seconds preview I loved it, then when I heard the song I was a bit disappointed, but now i'm starting to like it a lot! I would change some things though, I would have liked it to be more stripped down, but this is what we have, and I like it.

Nope, its such a disjointed mess of a nothing song. Horrible.

It happened to me, at first i was like meeehhh but now i like it, i still hope it's a 'Speed Of Sound' kind of thing and the rest of the album is way better than this...

I kind of like speed of sound you know..

Nope. After multiple listens, I hate it just as much as (if not more than) I did when I first heard it.

^ Same here. Nothing. I'm trying but nothing.

Can't stand that para-para-para ooooooooh and the Chris's uuuuuuh.

Chris uuuh uuuh in the past as well you know ;) Try and change para para to lyrics of your choice and see if you like the melody then :)

Grown on me :)

I regret some of the hate I spread yesterday.

We all learn from our mistakes. And I think we are all guilty of rushing to judgement often enough and seeing only the negative. (and in all areas of life, not only music!). I am glad you like it: it´s much more fun to like it than despise it. That we can all agree on!

It's definitely grown on me. Still get chills every time I listen to it now, and it leaves me anxious to find out what will become of that girl and her hopeless wishes of paradise.

Dream: Yes me too! I want to know how the story ends..hopefully it ends well!

Not even a little bit I'm afraid, in fact I dislike it more the more I listen to it. :\

Maybe the live version will give it another twist and have you focus on other aspects than the ones you dislike. :)

I have forced myself to listen to it, and I come to the conclusion, that if I ignore the lyrics, the paras and just concentrate on the melody I like it a little bit more. I'd love to have an instrumental of it :awesome:

Yes obviously I know. I always loved Chris uuuuuh. In Paradise I can't. Too much confusion in this song to me. And how do I change the lyrics?:stunned:

I know but I'm not gonna force myself to like a song by listening to it over and over to find a small part of it I can tolerate. I find it painful to listen to, it upsets me, so it's best I just pretend it doesn't exist for now. I'll deal with it live when I next see them :)

Listen to the piano cover:

I meant you could sing over them or something like that :) But yeah hard to like this song if you prefer a more stripped-down style, I can see why it would sound confusing.
