Emeli Sande and Marina and the Diamonds to open shows

 

Good morning. We're pleased to announce that the opening acts for Coldplay's upcoming tour.

 

Fast-rising Scottish R&B singer Emeli Sandé will open the shows in Glasgow, London, Paris, Cologne, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Frankfurt and Berlin. Click here for her official site, and check out her latest video, below:

I'm not sure if anyone's asked this yet, but have we any ideas who the support will be for the upcoming tour?

Maybe it'll be The Pierces, because Guy produced their last album.

But I think there's a big chance it'll be a bigger act because the tour is only a few weeks.

Editors or Snow Patrol would be nice!

If Editors or Snow Patrol will support them I would really be in heaven!!!!:D (Not that Coldplay isn't enough):)

A few weeks ago, on coldplay.com, it was written that The Parlotones would support them for all of the shows. Now, it's obviously changed as The Parlotones are not mentioned anymore.. Hmm.. Snow Patrol could be class!!!

I saw Editors support Muse in Holland last June and they were top class. Editors, Snow Patrol or Kasabian please!

My 2 favourite bands also! Both very different interestingly.

I could really see Snow Patrol doing the support slot (and maybe if they were feeling bold have The Pierces too)

I assume the original question was about UK tour dates?

Snow Patrol are probably going to play the O2 on their own so it wont be them.

Editors are really great live and I actually got a slight "Coldplay vibe" from them when I saw them early last year at a festival.

Two female singers as support, they could very well be joining in on PoC.

was my first thought too, she will sing the Rihanna Part in PoC ;)
