I've been listening to Coldplay since Parachutes so clearly I'm better than you. Also, I was born before you so I'm a better, more quality person. If i would introduce someone to coldplay i would make them listen to X&Y. 2. Viva La Vida 3. AROBTTH 4/5. Parachutes and MX But you cant really compare the albums. Every album has a different sound and every album is among the best albums in the world in their respective categories. I just like the X&Y sound and atmosphere the most. I wont say it has the best songs of all but it has some sort of textures that keep on during the whole record.) 2. X & Y (Perhaps the less voted album because, of course, it was the release after "A Rush..." masterpiece. It's hard to accomplish something as good as AROBTTH but I think they did it with X & Y. I know they weren't true happy with this album music-wise but I still can hear it from track 1 to the last and I love it. 3. Parachutes (I think this one is great because of the atmosphere they created through the songs. I love the acoustic approaches.) 4. Viva la vida (It has many great songs but at the same time, this whole "go big" concept doesn't quite fit my taste. Still a great record, I totally love Strawberry Swing) 5. MX (I love Buckland work on this one, I think it's his best work as a guitar player but at the same time some of the songs do not really put me in mood. You know, I started listening coldplay back in 1999 and I was sort of young, now I'm 30 and I found MX less dark and obscure than previous records and I don't know, perhaps I was expecting something more obscure.)
