May 23, 201313 yr Best Coldplay Albums and Worst Coldplay Album Ok so i now threads like these are made all the time but i just wanna know now that it has been a while since mylo xyloto has been released what is your favorite albums and least favorite For me: 1) A Rush of blood TO THE HEAD(GREAT) 2)Parachutes(Really good and unique) 3) Viva la vida (Really good but some disappointing tracks) 4) X and Y (Ok, some good tracks but overall disappointing) 5) Mylo Xyloto (Bad, but atleast it isnt a copy of coldplays previous work

June 16, 201313 yr AROBTTH of course...Every Song is really good,some songs are a masterpiece. AROBTTH is really an album, unlike other albums like X & Y, which you only hear some songs, AROBTTH enchants from beginning to end, AROBTTH is perfect.

July 6, 201313 yr X&Y is the best album no doubt about that. None of the other comes even close to being as close to perfect as X&Y is. If i would introduce someone to coldplay i would make them listen to X&Y. 2. Viva La Vida 3. AROBTTH 4/5. Parachutes and MX But you cant really compare the albums. Every album has a different sound and every album is among the best albums in the world in their respective categories. I just like the X&Y sound and atmosphere the most.
July 29, 201313 yr 1. A Rush of Blood to the head (I think this album compared to other albums works a whole more with piano/guitar combo and I appreciate that. I wont say it has the best songs of all but it has some sort of textures that keep on during the whole record.) 2. X & Y (Perhaps the less voted album because, of course, it was the release after "A Rush..." masterpiece. It's hard to accomplish something as good as AROBTTH but I think they did it with X & Y. I know they weren't true happy with this album music-wise but I still can hear it from track 1 to the last and I love it. 3. Parachutes (I think this one is great because of the atmosphere they created through the songs. I love the acoustic approaches.) 4. Viva la vida (It has many great songs but at the same time, this whole "go big" concept doesn't quite fit my taste. Still a great record, I totally love Strawberry Swing) 5. MX (I love Buckland work on this one, I think it's his best work as a guitar player but at the same time some of the songs do not really put me in mood. You know, I started listening coldplay back in 1999 and I was sort of young, now I'm 30 and I found MX less dark and obscure than previous records and I don't know, perhaps I was expecting something more obscure.)
