I searched and searched for a thread like this and I couldn't find one (and if it exists it's probably really old), so I thought I'd create one...and I was undecided on whether it should go in the Live Section or here, so I just stuck it here :uhoh:

 

But today I went through the setlists of all the shows I've been to and made a list of how many times I've heard each song. I thought it might be cool to see what songs other people have been present at shows to hear, and what songs are the "most played."

 

Setlist.fm is a great resource for this--just type in "Coldplay [city you saw them in]" and the setlist should be there!

 

So this is mine...it's a bit embarrassing :P

 

 

 

 

I was surprised to find that it was "In My Place" that was the #1-most-heard song--I thought it would be "Fix You" by at least two plays. "Viva La Vida" also has the same number of times heard live as "In My Place" (13), but outside of only two TV broadcasts, Coldplay has played "In My Place" every time I've seen them, whereas the first two times I saw Coldplay, "Viva" hadn't been written yet.

This will for ever be a night to remember. I had been to concerts before, Elton John, Sting, Melissa Ethridge, Jimmy Buffet, etc... but was never as animated as I was during this Coldplay concert. Chris is a very sweet guy and gives it everything. He said something like: We've played lots of festivals in the past few months, you don't know how sweet you sound. He was sitting at the piano, eyes closed, and a huge smile on his face when saying it. Too sweet for words!
