And when people complain who weren't even AT the gig in question, it really doesn't matter since it's the fans who were there who the band play for. There's no point wasting the energy to get 'angry' at a band...any band, for not being able to please each and every fan. Rant over *sigh* I know what you mean, I can understand. But I've paid for three concerts in the last 1,5 years. Pinkpop was a good show, it was new. When I saw them in Rotterdam in December, they had only changed a few songs. It was a brilliant show because of the energy and all the things that just happened. I'm just scared that they'll play almost the same songs again this year in Holland. It's just a thing I don't understand. Don't get me wrong, I'm obsessed with this band. But I would like to be surprised. Not too psyched about DLIBYH, I don't think Chris sounded that great. But it's a nice addition to te set. To me there was something lacking. I'm sure the video doesn't do it justice what so ever but i think the fact that Jonny's guitar wasn't prominent was the problem for me. Also, like the person above, Chris must work on his vocals. Chris' vocals at the start of the 2011 festival tour were fucking amazing!!!! it was clear that he had practiced or at least taken some lessons but it's slowly gotten worse. Prospector Posted April 19, 2012 Share Posted April 19, 2012 Wow, charlie brown is visually stunning, the running man, the lasers, the lyrics, the xylobans, it looks awesome, even better than LiJ on the viva tour, that for me was their previous visual highlight. Hurts Like Heaven improved too, the new digital thing on the screen is awsome, and all those coloruful lasers, they finally made it as good as the Viva tour gigs were. But at least admit Will sounds AMAZING on the song, no? I'm actually quite disappointed though, only on the basis that Chris doesn't seem to play ANY piano on the song live. :( :( :( Which was what I was looking forward to most because this is how I fell in love with Paradise - the live version is so guitar-piano-bass dominated (despite still having so much synth).
