gotcheese2768 Posted May 3, 2012 Share Posted May 3, 2012 OMGOMG. i was in sec S and got a seat upgrade. i was basically 6 rows from almost being last row. but a Coldplay roadie saw me in my Viva jacket and gave me and my mom tickets to ROW 2. so i went from being almost to the back to being in the front! the show was just AMAZING. even more than last night and i'm not just saying that because of the upgrade! the boys seemed to have more energy! it was so great to hear Speed of Sound! i really liked it this time around. during the Viva tour i got the opportunity to hear them play it live, but this acoustic version was better! anyways toward the end i made sure i stayed trying to get a pick (Jonny gave like 3-4 girls one), but i at least got a setlist!!! on a side note i met Janice Dickinson walking on the way out of the venue. and Pau Gasol was like 15 rows behind me! overall a night i will never forget! Sorry about the quality; YouTube is still processing it so it's gonna take a little while until it's full quality. More videos on the way... EDIT: Not much to add that hasn't already been said. Show was amazing, and the MX songs were much more polished than when I heard them back in August. LA crowds usually suck, so by LA standards especially this one was exceptional. I wish everyone knew that song so everyone could sing together. I totally agree with you on this. I never thought I'd get to hear Warning Sign live, ever. When they played it last night, both my wife and I were in tears and it was just as moving tonight. I know, guys aren't supposed to cry, but that song just gets me. I had section C row 4 but ended up getting upgraded to row 2 and then made nice with a security guard who got me up to the very front! It was a phenomenal show, met PH and Chris pointed at me and we sang AT each other during Charlie Brown, I believe. It may have been a different song but I can't honestly remember, my mind was all jumbled up after he acknowledged me. :) Oh! And Billy Crystal was there too! Sounds like a fantastic night! Then for ETIAW, we moved down to the very front boxes. Before security could make us leave, we saw an empty box and stood there. Oh and our seats were near X stage so we tried getting even closer, but security made us get out of the aisle. But not before... . There are from our seats... . More later. We couldn't stand in the aisle where C stage was but we could stand in the aisles by the boxes. Well, probably not "technically" but security didnt say anything.
