and I'll be massively happy if we get a third The Stone Roses lp, jeez I think I'd explode with happiness if that happened :D

I'm very much looking forward to the new Keane album. Also Muse and the possible MX EP. The rest of my favorite bands have all put out albums in 2011, so they will probably take at least until 2013 to release new stuff...

Adam Green and Binki Shapiro have also supposedly made an album together so I hope we'll get that this year.

If I get to hear even half of these this year, I'll be happy

Just off the top of my head:

Lana Del Rey

Sharon Van Etten

The Shins

Most of my favorite bands already released their albums in 2011, so I expect 2012 to be a little dull for me...

Dry the River

The Maccabees

Keane

Mew

Sigur Ros

:wacky:

Wait, there's more

Franz Ferdinand. Hands down. It's been too long

Franz Ferdinand (ugh I can't wait much longer.), Muse (hopefully), Hurts and Biffy Clyro.

The Temper Trap

Mumford & Sons

U2

Keane

MGMT

Manic Street Preachers (I hope)

MGMT

Atoms For Peace

Radiohead

U2

Lana Del Rey

The Killers

Muse

Keane

Bloc Party

Pearl Jam

Franz Ferdinand

I'm excited for whatever Muse, the Gallagher brothers, and U2 will release, though I've been waiting for U2s songs of ascent for like 5 years, so I'm gonna try not to hold my breath. Still, I'm sure it will be great when it does come out.

Liam says a new Beady eye album is coming but I personally don't think it'll be done this year (hopefully will be though). Noel's albums gonna be great though, I love when artists really push into the realm of experimentation.

Edit: oh, and it would be awesome if Blur got back in the studio like some rumor mills have been saying.....
