1:27 - 1:32

Featured Replies

I'm not crazy, right? They integrated a sound that makes it seem like it's skipping from 1:27 - 1:23.

Am I right? Or am I crazy? Or is my copy of the song from Amazon MP3s bad?

:D

You're right, and I think the band were crazy for including it, it totally ruins the song for me.

Sorry but I don't hear this sound or skipping moment in DLIBYH. All seems quiet normal between 1:27 and 1:32 !

You must have a (uniquely) glitched copy then. Please sell it to me!!

Yah it skips when he says crawl.

Basically it's one of the producers (Dan I guess- ?) trying to be clever and rip off John Leckie's work on Mersey Paradise by Stone Roses. It just ruins the whole song for me.

Ok. Two don't hear it. Three of you do!

That's strange. I'm glad the majority hears it though.

Really? I think it's cool. Something different. For me it doesn't change my opinion about the song because it's a good, good song!

Yeah, are you just talking about how he goes "crawl....crawl...crawl....crawl..."?

I thought that was just a delay on his voice.

There's a lot of delay on his voice throughout the song.

I just noticed it now that you pointed it out. I don't really like it.

Yes indeed, I also thought that.

Yeah, but there are loads of parts where there's this delay of his voice.

And I really like it :awesome:

Yes I've always heard it and it adds to the song.

One single effect of a vocal loop delay and it's accused of 'ripping off' another song? I'm sorry but I get really annoyed with things like this, like how people establish that the certain guitar tone that the Edge has overused can therefore only belong to him. IT'S AN EFFECT THAT ANYONE CAN USE!

i absolutely love this part. the "crawl" loop goes fading until the cannonball falsetto comes through. probably my favorite single piece of the song.

Now I hear the skip and it kind of kills the mood. Thanks a lot. :shifty:

i cant here it....

I don't hear any skip, just a sort kind of a wavy sound with crawl echoing in the background. Kind of cool, if you ask me.

I think you guys are mad.... totally part of the song... it precedes the most beautiful part IMO that is "And a slowly burning tide through my veins is flowing, from my shipwreck I heard her call". Just sayin'.
