For the time being, they'll tour Europe only. I think they'll continue but we don't know the dates nor the countries yet.

  • I've been a Muse fan for a couple of years now. I liked a couple of their hits but then a friend invited me to come with him to a Muse concert with him in 2013. The live experience was amazing and I h

Yes, I'm sure they'll announce dates soon (I'm talking about Muse, btw.)

I've pretty much given up on U2. The tickets will be a fortune, and I won't get good seats, even if they come down here. I'd sacrifice U2 to see Muse. :)

I have a ticket for Antwerp.

Definitely buying tickets for Rotterdam as well.

And I'm sure I'll be seeing the guys at some big summer festivals next year as well, as they seem to never miss out on playing those. They love festivals.

Especially your Pinkpop or Wertcher. I live in the middle Europe and feel like its the end of the world as we know it.

thats my guess too.. I think they are supporting U2 for 7 of their shows here in the US.

I thought its 9.

I managed to track down all the b-sides that aren't on the Hullabaloo soundtrack today. There are some incredible tracks here. I really like Pink Ego Box, and Eternally Missed and Fury made my jaw drop.

There is Muse4Fan but it's in French. There is the official website Muse.mu which is a great website. Have a look.

^where did you find them? I would love to get my hands on them..

Check your pm :)

I've never gotten into Muse..they always seemed a bit too Green Day for my liking..but they played Time is Running Out on the radio today and although I've heard it before I hadn't actually given it a proper listen til today. Some of the lyrics struck a chord with me and it made me stop and listen...and then I decided I quite liked this track...so...

...anyone got any recommendations for other Muse tracks that I should get my head round next..?

A) I love Muse and absolutely loathe Green Day, so I take offense to that. :P

B) "Time is Running Out" is certainly a candidate for my favorite track, so great choice.

C) Some basic track recommendations (for a newcomer) - Hysteria, Plug In Baby, New Born, Bliss, Stockholm Syndrome, Take a Bow, Starlight, Knights of Cydonia

That's more well-known material, but it's easiest to get into.

A - Well in my defense I haven't paid much attention to Muse, but they seemed like a bit of a black eyeliner band like Green Day :P Musiclly, I thought they sounded too much like Radiohead...

..I've heard Hysteria on the radio a few times too..and kept mistaking it for a Radiohead song.. :\ (but I do like that one ) Knights of Cydonia I just tried, but didn't care for that much..

Will try the other suggestions though, thanks very muchly :D

Muse are an acquired taste. I know I didn't like them for a while (after I first heard them), but I gradually fell in love with their music. :)

Don't feel bad, squareone, if you don't like them. Muse aren't for everyone.

Don't forget Citizen Erased. Or pretty much all of Origin of Symmetry.

screw their albums. jump onto youtube and check out their live material. if that list in my signature was a list for bands who make the best albums Muse wouldnt even make the top 40. but as a live band................well just watch the footage or even better check em out in the flesh and feel the awesome power of MUSE.

I think they're pretty god in albums as well

I agree.

That's how I got into them, they're gods on stage!

HAARP is by far my favourite live DVD so far.

Matt looking at Dom = Chris (Martin) looking at Jonny!

Anyway, I wouldn't recommend that vid to someone new to Muse.

Just go & watch HAARP.
