who said i listen to Muse? i just listened to their latest album and reviewed it, at the same day i deleted it from my PC. no one said depressing equals bad, but who says Radiohead are depressing and Muse not...well, that should think about "how his/her comments biased are"

I think both bands are depressing, that's what I love them for. And Apocalypse Please is one of the best Muse's songs in my opinion.

Btw, I changed my opinion about Supermassive Black Hole, I listened to it a few more times and I think I love it now :uhoh:

May i ask why that comment? because its unfair and very narrow-minded to think every single person who listen or likes super massive black hole automatically likes britney spears cos what i actually understood by that post was something like " you llike that shitty muse song so your taste in music must be shitty and you probably like crap like britney, etc" which i find offensive. maybe i got it wrong? i dont know but i had that impression.

While, I as a Radiohead fan as well, do find Let Down and Climbing Up the Walls very dark and depressing... well basically the whole album has a melancholy tone to it. At least Absolution was quick and exciting in most places. OK Computer has... Electioneering?

 

Of course, OK Computer is a far superior album, but in a much different way.

I did read that and that was his opinion about rh fans in general, and if you are memeber of atease or any other board you can tell that's true in some cases, some rh fans can be real pricks that's why other ppl think we're all the same but in that post you pointed out he was a wanker which is a direct attack to him and his opinion and not a general comment, that's my point. I dont mind if you argue with him or any other rh fan but as long as there's respect that goes to everyone else here.

 

And yes i heard some remix about SBH and that song by britney but assuming someone else likes britney ( and her music in general ) just cos that person likes SBH is just out of place. Especially the way you put it " you like britney spears, dont you?" i understood it as " if you like that kind of music then you have no right to lecture me about what good music is".I explianed my point exactly so you just have to re-read my previous post.

I love the album! I was a little unsure when I first heard it because it didn't grab me as much as the previous ones but now it's on repeat constantly! My favourites would have to be exo politics (I'm so glad this made it onto the album as it was my fav from the new live ones they had played!), starlight...loved it as soon as they played it in Dundee, map of the problematique and knights of cydonia :)

 

I'm not really into a soldiers poem as it just reminds me of unintended. It's like unintended part 2.

Invincible is a pretty good song but the beginning always reminds me of Elbows Grace under pressure!! Anybody else notice that?!?

 

Anyway I really love the album and it's still the muse we all love and adore :nice:
