June 10, 200620 yr i know that's soo true. must not downloooadddd *chants* :wideeyed: omgomgomg; knights of cydonia has been put up on their myspace page; http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=15049710 my goshhh IT IS AMAZING AWJSALJKSRAS;LJFHSD;L I LOVE THIS BAND SOOOOO MUCH I WANT TO KILL MYSELF. :uhoh:
June 10, 200620 yr who said that Radiohead for little kids? for me they are a private band, who don't like them should listen to softer version of RH like Coldplay or Travis. even if you find Radiohead's lyrics depressing what can we say about Muse? Apocalypse Please declare this an emergency come on and spread a sense of urgency and pull us through and pull us through and this is the end this is the end of the world it's time we saw a miracle come on it's time for something biblical to pull us through and pull us through and this is the end this is the end of the world proclaim eternal victory come on and change the course of history and pull us through and pull us through and this is the end this is the end of the world :uhoh: Escape You would say anything And you would try anything To escape your meaningless And your insignificance You're uncontrollable And we are unlovable And I don't want you to think that I care I never would, I never could again Why can't you just love her? Why be such a monster? You burn me from a distance Your brain needs some assistance But I'll still take all the blame 'Cause you and me are both one and the same And its driving me mad And its driving me mad I'll take back all the things that I said I didn't realize I was talking to the living dead And I dont want you to think that I care I never would, I never could again You would say anything And you would try anything To escape your meaningless And your insignificance :uhoh2: i find these lyrics extremely depressing and i'm not even talking about some pointless lyrics in some songs what does "Suppermassive Black Hole" mean by the way? come on, at least admit that putting "super" was just waste of time. Massive Black Hole sounds much better for me...
June 10, 200620 yr Hmm..Who said "depressing" means "bad"? I like Muse for their depressive songs, yeah, maybe their lyrics are depressive, but what's wrong with that? If you wanna listen to positive songs, listen to Coldplay. What's the point of listening music which you don't like? No point :nice:
June 10, 200620 yr who said i listen to Muse? i just listened to their latest album and reviewed it, at the same day i deleted it from my PC. no one said depressing equals bad, but who says Radiohead are depressing and Muse not...well, that should think about "how his/her comments biased are"
June 10, 200620 yr I think both bands are depressing, that's what I love them for. And Apocalypse Please is one of the best Muse's songs in my opinion. Btw, I changed my opinion about Supermassive Black Hole, I listened to it a few more times and I think I love it now :uhoh:
June 10, 200620 yr Btw, I changed my opinion about Supermassive Black Hole, I listened to it a few more times and I think I love it now :uhoh: you like Britney Spears as well then, don't you?
June 10, 200620 yr what does "Suppermassive Black Hole" mean by the way? come on, at least admit that putting "super" was just waste of time. Massive Black Hole sounds much better for me... its just cause Muse are very cool and can do things like that. i'm getting fed up of entering these threads you've created about muse and seeing them slagged off next to radiohead. so i will re-address the balance! .............. Muse Kick Radiohead's Ass Out Of The Window .
June 10, 200620 yr yes i said it would be put there Bonnie honey! :P it is absolutely stunning even better than i imagined as a studio version! :D
June 10, 200620 yr its just cause Muse are very cool and can do things like that. i'm getting fed up of entering these threads you've created about muse and seeing them slagged off next to radiohead. so i will re-address the balance! .............. Muse Kick Radiohead's Ass Out Of The Window . keep comments like yours for the "Muse" thread because you sound like a wanker which you mentioned on the previous page of this topic
June 10, 200620 yr muse are on the TV next week in the uK prefroming on BBC1 and a guys chat show called Johnathan Ross !
June 10, 200620 yr :nice: yeah i kept checking back after you said that, and it's finally there, i've added it to my myspace page too  haha it is stunning, you are right. it is beyond stunning. muse make me want tokill myself with happiness. :uhoh:
June 10, 200620 yr whos review is that?!!!!!! ah that annoys me so much to see that. radiohead fucking b sides. muse never have and never will sound anything like radiohead. we'll see some real reviews about the album and how successful it is when it comes out. RADIOHEAD AND MUSE ARE NOTHING ALIKE neverrr never neverrrrrrrrrr I HATE ITTTTT when people compare them. sorry nikky boy, but i can't stand it. each to their own, you hate muse, i understand, but come on, cut some slack for those here who actually like this band. enough of the queen comparisons and the rh comparisons, muse are their own band, with their own sound, and their own style. i fucking love them to fucking death and i fucking love radiohead too, but please. no comparisons. they are nothing alike. ps; i still love you nikky boy :nice:
June 10, 200620 yr you like Britney Spears as well then' date=' don't you?[/quote'] May i ask why that comment? because its unfair and very narrow-minded to think every single person who listen or likes super massive black hole automatically likes britney spears cos what i actually understood by that post was something like " you llike that shitty muse song so your taste in music must be shitty and you probably like crap like britney, etc" which i find offensive. maybe i got it wrong? i dont know but i had that impression. ps. calling wanker to nigel wont help your cause, he has the same right as you to express his opinion and say he likes muse over radiohead or the other way around.
June 10, 200620 yr You think Apocalypse Please is depressing? Apparently, you've never heard it. While, I as a Radiohead fan as well, do find Let Down and Climbing Up the Walls very dark and depressing... well basically the whole album has a melancholy tone to it. At least Absolution was quick and exciting in most places. OK Computer has... Electioneering? Of course, OK Computer is a far superior album, but in a much different way.
June 10, 200620 yr keep comments like yours for the "Muse" thread because you sound like a wanker which you mentioned on the previous page of this topic nik. you know i love you. but come on. calling nige a wanker because he's stating his opinion, is pushing it, don't you think? i thought i saw you write in a previous post that you have the right to a free opinion, and review the muse album as you please. whether nige says muse are better than rh, and whether you say rh are better than muse, that is irrespective, you are both entitled to like what you like, but putting someone down so much for liking muse is really pushing it...
June 10, 200620 yr Hey what?! Yesterday they put up the Radio Edit but now it's the full version!? Awesome! It's even better. :D
June 10, 200620 yr nik. you know i love you. but come on. calling nige a wanker because he's stating his opinion, is pushing it, don't you think? i thought i saw you write in a previous post that you have the right to a free opinion, and review the muse album as you please. whether nige says muse are better than rh, and whether you say rh are better than muse, that is irrespective, you are both entitled to like what you like, but putting someone down so much for liking muse is really pushing it... he called the RH fans wankers so he isn't welcome anymore here and i love you too, i just shared my opinion about Muse's album
June 10, 200620 yr May i ask why that comment? because its unfair and very narrow-minded to think every single person who listen or likes super massive black hole automatically likes britney spears cos what i actually understood by that post was something like " you llike that shitty muse song so your taste in music must be shitty and you probably like crap like britney, etc" which i find offensive. maybe i got it wrong? i dont know but i had that impression. ps. calling wanker to nigel wont help your cause, he has the same right as you to express his opinion and say he likes muse over radiohead or the other way around. why don't you read back this thread first and after ask why i called him a wanker? SBH sounds like Britney's "Do Something" so that's why i asked. i have no idea why you think it was offensive P.S you're taking this thread too seriously, you're starting your personal attacks when i'm only replying to them
June 10, 200620 yr I like the album, though I still think Showbiz and Origin Of Symmetry are superior. Might be better than Absolution though...
June 10, 200620 yr why don't you read back this thread first and after ask why i called him a wanker? SBH sounds like Britney's "Do Something" so that's why i asked. i have no idea why you think it was offensive P.S you're taking this thread too seriously, you're starting your personal attacks when i'm only replying to them I did read that and that was his opinion about rh fans in general, and if you are memeber of atease or any other board you can tell that's true in some cases, some rh fans can be real pricks that's why other ppl think we're all the same but in that post you pointed out he was a wanker which is a direct attack to him and his opinion and not a general comment, that's my point. I dont mind if you argue with him or any other rh fan but as long as there's respect that goes to everyone else here. And yes i heard some remix about SBH and that song by britney but assuming someone else likes britney ( and her music in general ) just cos that person likes SBH is just out of place. Especially the way you put it " you like britney spears, dont you?" i understood it as " if you like that kind of music then you have no right to lecture me about what good music is".I explianed my point exactly so you just have to re-read my previous post. And have i ever attacked you in any way?I'm just debating your comments here the same way i'd do in any other thread if i had someone to question my opinion cos like you said i'm also entitled to have my own opinion about anything, not only concerning to music but anything i feel like talking, free of speech my friend ;) Of course we have different opinions but that doesnt mean i'm having a go at you, please dont get me wrong and if you got that impression, i didnt mean to. Now i dont mind if you ppl ( muse fans, radiohead fans) keep arguing but please have respect for other people's opinions. I said what i had to said and i'm sure my point is clear so i'm done with this but as a mod i'll keep an eye on you all cos we dont want this to turn into a childish fight .
June 10, 200620 yr I love both, but muse just a bit more! Haven't heard the new radiohead album yet... But yea I refuse to have to chose because I enjoy both of their music, just in different ways :)
June 10, 200620 yr saw the Supermassive Black Hole video this morning for the first time ... it's very artistic and the song's even better :D
June 10, 200620 yr I love the album! I was a little unsure when I first heard it because it didn't grab me as much as the previous ones but now it's on repeat constantly! My favourites would have to be exo politics (I'm so glad this made it onto the album as it was my fav from the new live ones they had played!), starlight...loved it as soon as they played it in Dundee, map of the problematique and knights of cydonia :) I'm not really into a soldiers poem as it just reminds me of unintended. It's like unintended part 2. Invincible is a pretty good song but the beginning always reminds me of Elbows Grace under pressure!! Anybody else notice that?!? Anyway I really love the album and it's still the muse we all love and adore :nice:
